EVENTS: Add the distance traveled by each rider to the group race results table.
Since you can join a group ride at any time, you must include the actual distance traveled by each participant in the results table for that ride. Currently, a participant who actually traveled 10 km and a participant who traveled 100 km are listed with the same finishing time, even though they traveled different distances.

MECHANICS: Ramp Test FTP Calculation Formula
When doing Ramp Test today, I reached my fail point and stopped pedalling ca 15 secs after I entered 480W "minute". So my strongest 60 secs should be around 463-466. However it turned out that average of my strongest 60 secs was measured as only 458W. Not a huge difference, but when analyzing data - - Watts during last 15 secs were lower than Watts during second last minute... So basically last 15 secs were "ignored".

WORKOUTS: More variants of FTP ramptest
Variants of FTP ramptest would be nice. The one existing where you gradually increase resistance but also onte that is more like Zwifts where power needed is increased in 20W steps.

WORKOUTS: TP Virtual Workouts Based on Distance
I have several TP workouts that I use on the velodrome or the road (in real life) that are based on distance and not time. (Or a combination of time and distance ... e.g. 500m sprint with 5 minutes rest between efforts). Given that distance is calculated in TP Virtual (the Virtual Velodrome is good for doing distance efforts if you cant design structured workouts), was hoping that TP Virtual could accommodate those distance and time workouts. Thank you!

UI/UX: Powertoys keyboard remapping
I'm using the Powertoys keyboard remapping to remap keys from a Bluetooth music controller, to control direction, virtual gears, workout steps.
However, TPVirtual is overriding that config and using the keys from it's original mapping. Previously this was working with indieVelo. Is it possible to check on this?

UI/UX: Turning off Extra monitor
When I want to turn off my extra camera angle, I have to restart the application for it to go away.
Would be nice when I changed it to “none” if it would do it without the need for a restart

HUB: TPVirtual Hub Signup List
I think it would be nice for those that have public data to show some of the interesting ones in the list and allow it to be sorted by an individual column (Name, ARR, FTP, Max Watts from previous race(?), total Beers burned off, etc etc)
And also include the total number of signups so I don’t have to manually count them anymore

UI/UX: Ability to unselect certain national flags in my personal view
My training is also my personal free space where I also need to unwind from the problems of the world. Certain countries are responsible for terrible atrocities and conflicts affecting my part of the world. Although the individual athletes most likely have no part in this - the very visible national flags do represent these governments. - I request at feature where I can unselect meeting certain national flags. It will greatly remove stress from my training not to experience the virtual feeling of having these symbols waved in my face. Please understand how mental peace is important for hard…

PAIRING: ERG mode not working after FTP changes
After logging in I was prompted to sync my new (lower in case that makes a difference) FTP from TrainingPeaks. I did so and then proceeded to do a planned structured workout. ERG was not working, even though the on-screen options said it was. Turning ERG on and off again also did not work. Stopping the session and restarting it did not work. Only after terminating the app and restarting it did work.
I was using a iPhone 16 Pro Max with iOS 18.1.1 and plenty of spare storage.

OTHER: Setting to windowed view, but the launcher is in full screen view, which messes up my monitor, and why I select the windowed view.
Just have the full-screen/window selector also make the launcher use windowed view if selected. App is not usable till this is fixed for me.

PAIRING: WattBike cadence support
On the WattBike Trainer (old version of the Air, I think) at the gym the power sensor is read reliably over Bluetooth. However, the cadence sensor is never found. Oddly, TP Virtual does find a couple of cadence sensors for rowers in the gym nearby. Additionally, my Coros watch correctly picks up cadence from the Wattbike. In turn this tells me the scan for cadence is working, and the Wattbike is broadcasting cadence data. It's just that TP Virtual is not picking this up.

PAIRING: Precor Spinner Chrono Power
It is not possible to connect the “Precor Spinner Chrono Power” spinning bike.
In my gym, there are several units, and on all the ones I’ve tested, it is not possible to connect them to the application. Others, like Zwift, can connect without any issues.
These bikes transmit power via Bluetooth. However, it is not possible to detect these devices from TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Any other device, such as my Garmin watch or my cycling computer, can be detected without any problems.
There seems to be something preventing the app from detecting this type of device, and I can’t figure out…

MECHANICS: Speed loss when pedaling resumes
If you ride in a peloton and stop pedaling, you continue coasting slowly losing speed. When you resume pedaling, you feel like you are decelerating faster instead of stopping decelerating. I believe this can be fixed by delaying the speed adjustment from power until the power reaches and exceeds the calculated power for the current speed. Until then, the bike should continue coasting. I believe such an algorithm can make these moments more realistic.

OTHER: RAM alert for stability
I would like the app to flag when ram usage is high before launching the app so that it doesnt crash or freeze my machine (mac os 15). I often have a lot of browsers open before launching TPV and it can overload things.

WORLD: Audio - UCI start gate audio sound
I’m thrilled to see the virtual velodrome feature in TrainingPeaks—it’s an excellent tool for track cyclists. I’d like to propose an enhancement that would make this feature even more impactful for athletes: incorporating the UCI Start Gate Clock audio cues for standing starts.
This addition would:
1. Enhance Realism: Familiar auditory cues from UCI races would help athletes simulate race-day conditions, building confidence and muscle memory.
2. Support Specialized Training: Standing starts are a critical skill for track cyclists, and practicing with the UCI-standard countdown would allow athletes to fine-tune their timing and technique.
3. Bridge Virtual and Real-World Performance:…4 votes -

At a fork when one is given the option to stay on the current route or take a new route - show the distance to finish for both.
The new route option is given, but one does not know how far this new route is to the finish.5 votes -
UI/UX: Display of distance left - UI, Computer: "Distance to Do" does not seem to show this.
"Cumulative Distance" shows the distance from the start. It would be nice to know the distance left - if you forget how far a route is.

PAIRING: Garmin Speed/Cadence sensor is seen but not read.
I have an older Garmin Speed/Cadence sensor that I have been using on Zwift for cadence with no issues.
In TPV, the sensor appears in the list of ANT+ sensors but I don't get cadence info. RPMs stay at zero and even though my avatar is rolling down the road, he does not appear to be pedaling.5 votes
