The flame banners for interval completion are great, but they don't appear on the mini-map, which makes them hard to see when round a corner etc. At first glance, these things seem unimportant (there's a timer after all) but it's much easier to work towards a point in the road than to count down seconds.

  5. I'm a triathlete and I travel alot abrought to compeet in T100 or 70.3 races. It would be nice to import the gpx-files of these races into TP Virtual and ride the course with all elevations. Something like a combination of Best Bike Split and TP Virtual.
    I don't care if the TP Virtual landscape would not match the elevation of the gpx-track.

    - some kind of bonuses (not necessarily like Zwift ones)
    - achievements
    - some bonuses for riding through gates
    - live ranking of segments
    - checkboxes / stats of completed routes
    - ranks / levels
    - etc

    Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.

    In general, some degree of gamification can be good, but we need to be careful not to go too far - for example, we would not want to do anything that encouraged an athlete to train when it would be better for them to be resting etc.

    It's therefore an area we will certainly be looking at, but at this stage it's unclear what changes we may or may not make.

  8. My workouts in TrainingPeaks set a power range for long intervals (eg: 125-165w for 60mins). When they appear in TP Virtual, the ranges are changed to slopes (eg: start at 125w then gradually increase to 165w over 60mins).
    I'd much rather ride these intervals at a fixed power using ERG mode rather than have it gradually increase or decrease.
    Other platforms deal with this by using the middle value of the range as the set power for the entire duration instead of using a slope.

  9. Discord voice channels are widely used by indoor cycling teams and it would be very useful to have Integrated Discord Voice Channel support built in TrainingPeaks Virtual. And for example, it could be also used by team managers during the races and also as general voice chat in group and group training rides.

    As we are at it, also Discord text channel support could be very convinient in prepearing events and managing teams.

  10. TrainingPeaks Virtual bots with their AI are quite remarkable. A completely new way to exploit those bots would be "personal team bots", i.e. the possibility of a human rider to have his own team of bots. Those team bots should work with their human team leader in different ways - not only as the tempo making domestiques, some should maybe sprinters or puncheurs and so on. So in certain cases human rider can actually work for one of his bots too. Also there should be a way to send commands to them or put the bot to a certain training…

  13. TP Minimalist / Split Screen Mode

    During my workout today, I split the screen between watching some trash TV and TPV.
    Usually when I do that with Zwift, I just open the Companion App, so that I can see the information I need with very simple visuals, so that I don't even need to have the screen open.

    I was thinking that it would be incredible to click a button and change the view in the app to only see the info / numbers and the upcoming intervals. Something that could be very small, but display all the info very…

  14. Many people have poor virtual power data particularly after the summer of riding outside. Using the real life data for the critical power and performance verification in TP Virtual would give better information. Whilst there is often some difference in the power from outside to virtual data this would be discernible within the data that TP holds.

  15. Today I completed two workouts where I displayed data from a Core Body Temperature sensor. While I was able to see my core body temperature on display in the UI, however it did not record this data to the .FIT file when the ride was complete.

  16. You recently declined a persons suggestion (on/off toggle to identity bots)

    This after event scenario does zero to help during a group ride, event, etc. to be able to chat with other riders, ask questions, etc. We need to know Bots from real humans DURING the activity.
    Today's group ride, several riders seemed frustrated to who was a real human and who wasn't. This was a group ride, not a race, so being able to 'talk' is something leisurely riders like to do.

At the end of an event, participants should enter a coffee shop / clubhouse etc where the results are displayed, there is a podium, you can view the results, and importantly can discuss the race with others that took part - give chapeaus, etc. Avatars could be on turbo trainers so that you can also cool down.

    It's a bit of a damp squib when an event finishes and everyone just rides off.

  20. Using HR to control the power would be great to make it easier to stay within your Zone 2 HR zone on extended Free rides and Workouts.
    I have used this mode in another training platform and found it very useful.
    HR is set by the user and is changeable by 5 beats up and down with each click of the UP/DN arrows, the platform controls the power to keep you within 2 - 3 beats of target. Initially it would need to ramp up slowly to get you to the target zone.
