WORLD: Consistent Scenery
Not so much a new idea but an evolution of existing. The 'cruiseliners' seem wrong to me even unrealistic and they block the view. They are too close to the shore ... unless they've actually run aground. How do the passengers get ashore? either a wharf or maybe some shore landing feature with smaller boats tied up ... and anyway is there really enough for them to do and see when they're here?
Perhaps some more modest expedition cruisers might fit better.Georgetown and the other 'villages' seem abandoned and do not have a cohesive style, these need to be…

UI/UX: Resizable HUD/GUI for Enhanced Virtual Immersion
I use a 70" 4K TV as my primary display for virtual riding, which creates an incredibly immersive experience. However, one recurring challenge I’ve noticed—across several apps, not just TPVirtual—is the size and dominance of the HUD/GUI on the screen.
While I absolutely rely on the data during rides and workouts to monitor performance, the current layout makes it difficult to fully enjoy the game’s visuals.
The interface simply takes up too much real estate on a large screen, especially in higher resolutions.
It would be amazing to have the ability to adjust the HUD/GUI size dynamically, perhaps via a…1 vote -
UI/UX: Add realtime carb burn to HUD options
TrainingPeaks has just added the ability to show calories burned split by carbs and fat.
It would be great if it was possible to show carb burn (ideally in grams of carbs rather than calories, i.e. divided by 4) in realtime whilst riding. This will help fuel during an activity and replenish appropriately afterwards.

HUB: Separate workout page for companion app
I would love to see the TPV companion app include a separate page for workouts similar to the Zwift companion app that would allow one to quickly change the effort level or skip an interval with a single button tap rather than navigating through the current remote page process. I struggle to navigate the current remote when I am in the middle of an intense workout, as happened the other day when I tried to reduce the effort of an interval but was unable to do that quickly enough before I entered the ERG mode spiral of death....

UI/UX: Provide clear feedback on dropouts (ANT+, BT, WiFi)
It seems that I suffer from a lot of dropouts on my ANT+ connection, enough to trigger Performance Verification (PV) removing me from a race. Now, I am absolutely fine with this, but I’m finding it very hard to trace the issue, especially because the only way to know it happening is to set up a race with PV on, and see what happens for every idea I have.
Now, I understand the reasoning that other aspects of PV can’t be fed back on live when just riding around so people don’t learn how to game the PV system, but…

UI/UX: Focus data screen error Apple TV 4k
Launching a workout in focus data mode results in a blinking white TV screen, virtual world works fine.
See images, have deleted and re installed app on Apple TV.
Any thoughts?

UI/UX: Show virtual gear when primary dashboard turned off
The zones display removes (for me) the need for the relatively large primary dashboard, but turning it off seems to turn off the virtual gear display (unlike the cruise mode display).

WORLD: Ice Mountain Graphics
Would love to see some Mountain Goats standing watch over the Ice Mountain climbs on the mountainside ledges. Chomping, scaling ledge to ledge, and keeping an eye on all the hard-working virtual climbers....

HUB: virtual gear changes on remote control screen
Just started using virtual gearing and love it but would like to see a + / - option on the remote control screen to avoid bringing up the main menu, moving to the + or - and then hitting enter. I found I can also do it on the screen with a mouse click but that also isn't real convient when going hard and trying to move the mouse around. A simple extra + and - on the remote screen would be ideal since it would be 1 click either way during a hard effort.
Thanks for your consideration

Hub: Add shortcuts from action menu
Add some shortcut buttons to the remote tab in the hub, rather than having to fumble around through the on screen menu. Some ideas: end ride, take a break, pause workout

MECHANICS: Make position harder to EARN
At the moment I feel like it is TOO easy to move through a crowded peloton and therefore removes a fair bit of the team tactics getting your key rider in the right position within a group.
If you can easily ride through the hoard or riders, then you don’t really need a team as much.
Indoor cycling already removes a lot of the team tactic aspects of cycling (no need to go back to grab waters/etc from the cars), no need to fight people off wheels, and so-on.
I think it would be great to make it near impossible…

Battery icon
Can the battery icon and charging icon be added to front screen?
Sometimes, my adapter doesn’t connect properly and I would rather troubleshoot when on Hub homepage and not when riding already2 votes -
HUB: Remote Button Design Change (Companion App)
REALLY like the new companion app with the remote option in it (AppleTV remote is just awful when trying to use in-game...), however, can we move the 'Enter' button to be in the middle of the arrows? Ergonomics would be soooo much easier!

MECHANICS: Adjust ranking logic to limit impact of frequency
The current ranking logic used for pen placement is not working well, as racers with relatively low physical capabilities can end up in pen 1 for most events by virtue of racing frequently.
This may not be a flaw of the ranking logic per se, and more because bots are easy to beat despite their high rank because they are not such clever racers. Regardless, the problem is there.
One way to resolve this, which also protects against a number of other issues inherent in many Elo based ranking systems, is to anchor a rank to a specific physiological metric.
…
4 votesMany thanks for the suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Whilst it's unlikely that we'll do exactly this as there are a number of drawbacks from anchoring, the general point you make about ensuring that the rankings are a useful way of categorising humans against each other (as opposed to it being more of a reflection of humans against bots) is a good one and we'll take a look at how best to do that.

MECHANICS: Increase Climbing Rating Importance for Races with Significant Climbs
Summary:
When calculating event ratings for races that include categorized climbs (Cat 4, Cat 3, Cat 2, Cat 1, or HC), the algorithm should place substantially more weight on a rider's climbing rating rather than relying heavily on TT and Endurance ratings. This would create more balanced competition in hilly/mountainous races.Problem:
Currently, the event rating system appears to favor Time Trial and Endurance abilities in any longer race, even in races with significant climbing. This leads to several issues: Climbers with lower overall ratings but strong climbing abilities are placed in lower pens than appropriate. Larger/heavier riders with strong…15 votes -
TP SYNC: Access TP workout folder from within TPV
There was previously a feature request for this, but I think it was incorrectly marked as completed.
It would be good to be able to store your custom workout files in the cloud (i.e. as an enhancement to TrainingPeaks) so that they are available across all of your devices. The file sizes are only very small so this should be feasible even for very large libraries.
Whilst you can add a workout to TP to have it available in TPV, if you don't have access to the file in the first place because it's on your home PC and…

WORKOUTS: Allow workouts to continue when the network gets disconnected.
The experience for me so far has been extremely poor and frustrating because I have gotten a "network error" issue and the ride shuts down mid-way through a workout. That's a super frustrating experience..it has not happened to me on Zwift. I'm not sure if it's a clientside or serverside issue but the app needs to allow a workout to continue even if there is a blip in the network.
I'm trying my third workout tonight but if this happens a third time I'm probably not coming back.
9 votesMany thanks for letting us know about this, and your support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
This appears to be a bug as the platform should already allow you to continue riding on your own (and therefore able to complete a workout) even if you are disconnected from the server, for whatever reason.
We've turned on some advanced logging for your account so if this happens again we'll get full diagnostics and will be able to understand what is different about your system's configuration compared to others (who don't see this issue) and to debug and fix the issue quickly for you.

EVENTS: Workout controls shown when spectating group workouts
When spectating a group workout, the action bar at the bottom shows controls to enable and disable ERG mode, and increase or decrease the difficulty. The increase and decrease buttons are also shown about the workout details.
I am not sure if they actually affect the rider being watched, but probably better not to show them at all?
Also, the workout progress is not shown? The event I was spectating was nearly finished, but the workout details still showed as if the warmup hadn't been started.1 vote -
FITFILES: Allow Moxy Data (blood oxygen) to be written to .fit file
It would be hugely valuable to be able to write Moxy data to .fit file. I am so glad to see that I was able to pair my Moxy sensor and display SmO2 and THb data fields but it doesn't appear that this data is written to the .fit file. Adding this feature would separate TrainingPeaks Virtual from competition and open up tons of advanced training options.
