Handle TrainingPeaks workouts with a power range while in ERG mode
My workouts in TrainingPeaks set a power range for long intervals (eg: 125-165w for 60mins). When they appear in TP Virtual, the ranges are changed to slopes (eg: start at 125w then gradually increase to 165w over 60mins).
I'd much rather ride these intervals at a fixed power using ERG mode rather than have it gradually increase or decrease.
Other platforms deal with this by using the middle value of the range as the set power for the entire duration instead of using a slope.

ERG mode should honour the TP workout setting of the power range for each workout block. It's visible especially when doing short sprints in S7, when I want to spin as much power as possible for a short time. Even when a range is set from 150-1000 it starts to fast with 1000 and blocks my pedals, so it's extremely hard to go even to 800W, as it goes to fast to block me.

This approach is perfect for me as it's only on warm-up and cool-down. On the regular step, this is "flat". I would not change it at all.

From a coach to athlete training Rx/execution;
- add Rx range to view/prompt vs exact power goal if that is how workout is built in TP Workout builder. Likely still has to import as Erg mean between the Rx range but then athlete can see "keep power between 275-300w" vs "hold 288w". Then rider can self-select more real-life than being an erg robot. -

I believe these ramps are only when specific "Warm-up" and "Cool down" blocks are built from TP workout builder. If built with "Active" then the system still takes the mean of the range for a steady erg effort like the middle ramps shown in screen shot.
As a coach I'd actually wish the intervals would show/recommend the full range and NOT hold to the mean of the interval Rx. That is reality not erg life.
