PLATFORMS: Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality Version
Hi George and team. I am an owner of Apple Vision Pro AVP and have been using TPV iPad version on AVP. Although not ideal because it is only 2D, I believe it greatly enhances the experience. I wonder if you and your team would consider designing a virtual immersive version of the software. I think spatial computing is the way forward and it would be great for TPV to be ahead of the curve.

WORKOUTS: Cadence Issues on TP build work out - Workout correct - TPV Incorrect
HI Folks
See attached doc it contains 3 images -first 2 images are of the workout built in TP and the 3rd image is what came across to TPV
If you look at image 3 (tpv workout) cadence required in z2 is 65, if you look at image 2 (TP workout) no cadence is required.
the workout seems to be built right as done before in other platforms. Cadence of 65 is only required in z3 sectors - 10 min section
Maybe something to look into - happy to supply more details if needed

MECHANICS: auto pausing or continuous time during training
I'm wondering if autopausing during a workout should be an option of choice. If I complete a very hard interval and then stop pedalling during the recovery interval the workout should just carry on rolling on through the recovery interval, not just stop and wait for me to resume pedalling. But other people would maybe prefer the workout to wait until they are ready to continue. So workout auto pause should be a selectable option perhaps.

EVENTS: Bot AI improvements
Hi, I've got some ideas for improvements to the bot AI, or at least observations about how it misbehaves.
In points/elimination races (in the velodrome, but I assume something similar happens elsewhere), the AI consistently begins extremely calmly, so that the first lap is basically uncontested. The entire group then ramps up power heavily for the next 2-3 laps before apparently burning all of its matches and remaining calm for most of the rest of the race. It seems to, near the end, try to contest the penultimate lap, then again just coast over the line on the last lap.…

UI/UX: Display the gap to other pacers on the same route.
I was following a pacer the other day (Cyril Citrine) and was hoping that we would catch a slower pacer so that I could back off my effort for the end of my workout.
Of course I could have just teleported (sorry Zwift word) to the Eddy Emerald group, but if I knew we were only minutes behind Eddy and would likely catch that group, I could just continue with the faster group until that happened.
The same in the other way, I usually start riding alone and if caught by a pacer group I join them but if I…5 votes -

UI/UX: Distance of riders behind is not visible
The distance of riders behind, especially the pace rider, is not visible, but hidden behind the effort/elevation chart on the bottom of the screen, once it reaches a certain distance, probably about 10 meters or so.
It's pretty annoying. Mostly you want to check the distance when you got to the front of the group and make sure you're not too far.5 votes -
UI/UX: hover over hints for what each number represents
in the main screen, I see that below the live data, there are 3 different numbers for Power, HR, and Cadence. I would love to know what each number is. I know it's something to do with averages, maximums, and minimums, but I cannot find documentation on exactly what they are.
5 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Improving the UI is firmly on our to-do list, and using tool-tips is a great suggestion. In the mean-time, the 2 values shown for cadence and heartrate are the average and maximum, and the 3 values shown for power are the average, normalized and maximum values.

PAIRING: Add support for Train.Red SmO2 sensors
Please add support for the Train.Red SmO2 sensors. https://train.red/
This is similar to what has been done for Moxy SmO2 sensors.
Please include saving the SmO2 data to the FIT file and push to TP and Intervals.ICU
Thank you :)5 votes -
EVENTS: Editing multiple events with less clicking
When editing multiple events from the "Check & Edit" menu you should stay inside this menu layer when you have finished editing your event.
Currently you are placed by in the main Event Organisation screen and have to click "Check & Edit" again to get to your next event to modify.
This feels a bit clumsy.5 votes -

MECHANICS: Session lost after short network break
Jumping to Spotify caused a loss of network connection. When returning back to TPV, my ride was stopped and saved. I would expect the session to remain as the break was less than a minute and be able to continue my ride

PAIRING: Emulate Actual Bike Gearing
Maybe TPV can do this today, but the set-up gearing is confusing to me. All I want to do is exactly emulate my Shimano GRX gearing. It should be easy and straightforward. Help me, please

OTHER: Setting to windowed view, but the launcher is in full screen view, which messes up my monitor, and why I select the windowed view.
Just have the full-screen/window selector also make the launcher use windowed view if selected. App is not usable till this is fixed for me.

UI/UX: At a fork when one is given the option to stay on the current route or take a new route - show the distance to finish for both.
At a fork when one is given the option to stay on the current route or take a new route - show the distance to finish for both.
The new route option is given, but one does not know how far this new route is to the finish.5 votes -
UI/UX: Display of distance left - UI, Computer: "Distance to Do" does not seem to show this.
"Cumulative Distance" shows the distance from the start. It would be nice to know the distance left - if you forget how far a route is.

PAIRING: Support for steering devices
I have an Elite Sterzo steering riser block. It would be great if I could use this for route selection at junctions and for tactical positioning.
5 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
As another commenter has noted, TrainingPeaks Virtual is currently not legally able to add support for the Elite Sterzo. When we are able to however, we intend to do so.

PAIRING: Garmin Speed/Cadence sensor is seen but not read.
I have an older Garmin Speed/Cadence sensor that I have been using on Zwift for cadence with no issues.
In TPV, the sensor appears in the list of ANT+ sensors but I don't get cadence info. RPMs stay at zero and even though my avatar is rolling down the road, he does not appear to be pedaling.5 votes
