Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
In general, some degree of gamification can be good, but we need to be careful not to go too far - for example, we would not want to do anything that encouraged an athlete to train when it would be better for them to be resting etc.
It's therefore an area we will certainly be looking at, but at this stage it's unclear what changes we may or may not make.

Many thanks for this more nuanced suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
We've deliberately not declined this one and will add it to the list of suggestions to consider in more detail. Whilst the general position remains that we deliberately choose not to publish this metric, it potentially could be displayed for yourself only (and be blank when viewing other riders) as an option in the custom UI.

When I run the TrainingPeaks Virtual app on my iPhone and connect it to a TV via a certified Apple HDMI adapter, the TV displays a black screen while the app is running. Other apps such as Zwift work correctly with the same setup. It seems that TPV does not support external video output or mirroring, which is frustrating when trying to follow workouts on a bigger screen.
Please consider adding support for HDMI output or screen mirroring to improve the usability of the app during indoor training sessions.
