  1. With TP's new strength builder, strength no longer contributes to the fitness summary chart in the dashboard or to hours on the ATP. I'd love to see this feature adjusted to reflect the work athletes put in.

  2. Please add a possibility / option to change the calculation of the color code so the TSS is used as main parameter instead of the completed time.

  3. I love how you have made uploading my training data from Garmin Express easier and I think one of the main attractions with TrainingPeaks is the ability to compile all relevant fitness and training data in one place where it can be analyzed together. However, this is tricky with rowing data. I recently got the iphone connect-cable for my Concept2 thinking it would allow me to import pace, cadence and heart rate data into TP and plot it in a nice graph instead of manually inputting it and only having the totals for each workout. But to my surprise this…

  4. TrainingPeaks should have the same feature as WKO+ when it comes to being able to set Threshold values for given periods of time. When uploading an athlete's historic data, I need to be able to put in what their threshold value was at those times - not have TP calculate things like IF and TSS based on the current values. This makes it impossible to do accurate comparisons of previous build cycles in an athlete's career to the current situation. Like WKO+ this should simply be an easy to edit table where you put in start and stop dates for…

  5. Please bring back the weekly total calculations while we coaches are building our weekly training schedules in the hidden mode. Having these weekly totals out of view while we are building schedules certainly adds more computer time and this is not the goal. This just changed with the most recent update and I personally find it a huge disappointment.

  6. The previous Strength Workout builder allowed setting a planned time, enabling proper scheduling in the calendar. The new builder lacks this functionality, making planning and tracking strength workouts difficult.

    Hi TrainingPeaks Community!

You can now set a planned duration for workouts built using the new Strength Builder. You can set a duration in the top right corner when building a workout.

Thanks for your feedback and your commitment to improving TrainingPeaks!

  7. Hi - not sure if this is a bug or intentional:

    1) when adding a workout from a library to a calendar it assigns a time of 12:00am
    2) when adding a new workout to a calendar (using the "+" button) the time is blank by default
    3) when applying a plan to a calendar all of the workouts have a blank time

Then on any day in the calendar:
    - workouts with a time are ordered first
    - workouts with a blank time come next

It would make more sense to me that:
    1) in a plan you can…

  8. Rather than having to enter a schedule on the calendar UI and flip back and forth to the dashboard's PMC to see the results of a specified TSS could slider bars be added on a special PMC Planner UI? The slider bars would allow seeing "real time" effects of TSS on certain future days. The sliders would be available for a week or two going forward, starting from today. Maybe also give ability to input a numeric TSS rather than having to use the slider. I've attached a very rough mock up of this. Please forgive me if there is…

We just released our new TSS based ATP. You can now plan your optimal season all based on TSS.

  9. Now that you introduced the possibility to show races and the main race in the new homepage, it would be useful if next to each race you could show predicted CTL, ATL, TSB. Data are there in the chart already, but if would be good to see them at a glance.

Thanks for the suggestion. You can now create your ATP with TSS and can set a target CTL for your A and B races.

This is a chart in the new HTML5 beta app available now for premium users.

  11. It is frustrating having to upload workouts separately. Garmin (eg 810/620) are now auto uploading wirelessly from device to Garmin Connect but to get to TP this has to be exported from Connect then manually uploaded to TP or the device needs to plugged in and uploaded. Ideally I would like a button in TP that imports all Garmin files for a date range.

  12. Add in the ability to display the Peak performance chart in as a grid format as well as a graph (like in Classic). Very useful for a quick scan of CPPB's and when they were achieved. Also in the graph function, add the ability to display recent and older Peak Power numbers in different colors so it's easy to differentiate between the two.

  13. Simple 2x2 widget for the Home Screen that displays the big 3 metrics (CTL - Fitness, ATL - Fatigue & TSB - Form).

When a workout synchs to the TP app in the background the widget will update.

Possibly customisable for larger widgets to include more data? 🤷🏽‍♂️

  14. The Garmin Edge 1040 Series supports showing primary and secondary targets on the workout screen. (https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=EMMh03mfYU59Zt0ldOw0U6, https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/edge-1040-series/296864/tip-3---workouts-now-support-a-secondary-target).

Several of my recent workouts have both power and cadence targets. However, the 1040 is only displaying the power target.

As an experiment, I downloaded a workout in FIT format. I examined the FIT file using this tool: https://www.fitfileviewer.com/ . I noticed that TP is using the custom target fields of the workout step message to indicate the power range.

I then created a workout in Garmin Connect Web that had both a primary and secondary target. Garmin is placing…

  16. Hi, I'm a Coach. I would like to suggest modifying the platform for coaches by giving the possibility to insert customized zones which are then automatically adapted to all of their athletes.
In my opinion it is absolutely necessary to have the possibility to automatically modify all the power and heart rate ranges.
A coach should be able to determine his own fixed setting for all athletes so once the anaerobic threshold and the anaerobic threshold power have been entered, the power and frequency ranges are automatically set (the percentages are obviously set by the coach when he starts to…

  17. It would be very convenient to have the ability to upload a structured workout file into TrainingPeaks. I prefer to build my workouts with my own tool and export them in the format I desire (like TrainerRoad .mrc format or Zwift .zwo format). Being able to upload them to TrainingPeaks will help me keep track of the different workouts I've created. I don't think this would be a difficult task to implement since the common workout file formats have standard syntax that is easily parsed. And TrainingPeaks already provides the option to download workouts as these different file formats so…

    Thank you for the suggestion!

The ability to import zwo power based bike workouts is available in your Workout Library. Select the 3 dot menu on a Workout Folder and choose Workout Import.

Please open a suggestion on the next most import imports you all would be looking for!

  18. Could we have a better way of handling multi-sport events/workouts? I use a Garmin Forerunner 610. It goes under my hat in a ziploc bag when swimming, then stays on my wrist while riding and running. So at the end of a race there's a single file with swim, T1, ride, T2 & run in it.

It's possible to upload the file, duplicate the workout several times, then cut out the relevant portions by finding the point on the map where each transition starts/finishes. But it's a painful process and getting it wrong often means starting again.

    If there were…

  19. I use training peaks several times per day and find that I've normally been logged out as a result of the session time-out and need to log in again, reloading the app and returning to my default calendar view.

I'd like the option to configure this inactivity timeout value e.g. 30 mins, 24 hours, never. Many thanks.

The new Beta HTML5 app has a “non expiring” sign-in cookie, so you can return to the app even after many days of non usage and be signed in automatically. Currently, you can also directly access the Beta by bookmarking “app.trainingpeaks.com”

  20. When there are more workouts in a given day than what can be shown in a 1 week calendar view, there should be a scroll bar that appears (as there is when completing this comment field). Currently, you can click on 'more' but nothing changes. Without altering my current view of my workouts, there is no way for me to see the later workouts.
