Peak Performances Browser
The recommendation is for a "peak performances" browser/manager in both the web app and the mobile app.
I really like the new-ish Peak Performances feature. It has really helped spark a new resurgence in my performance and i am setting all kinds of new PRs, in part motivated by this feature. If nothing else, it is aiding in my awareness of where my performance is day to day and helping me to set new, realistic goals which drive training and race selection.
I've posted elsewhere a need for a better FTP/field test tracker/manager. One thing i'm actually quite surprised about...is that you've done such a great job creating this module to analyze my performances and identify which are the best at all different sports and distances....and yet did NOT create an easy window into this data!? There should be a browser to directly explore the peak performances! As it stands...you have to find an event of the distance and sport you are interested and then click through that log entry to get to the charts to see your progress over time. Since many of your "bests" are identified "on the fly" during routine workouts etc, this is actually not very easy to do.
It would make sense to me to create a "peak performance central" page where you could easily monitor this (I think more than just another graph on the dashboard), track your formal field tests and races over time, and adjust your training zone settings. (these make no sense to me in the preferences module....they are too central to training programs etc). At any rate, no matter how its done....there should be a dedicated peak performances browser in place on both the web app and the mobile app.
A link to View All Peak Performances can be found on the Athlete Home tab. From there you can filter by sport type, HR or PWR, duration, and year.
