Switch between ERG and Standard mode in Workout builder.
The workout builder and it's ability to control a smart trainer is great in all respects except max efforts, would it be possible to build in the functionality to switch between ERG and resistance mode when building a workout?
I use the IQ app to export to my garmin 520 and can manually switch to resistance mode on the computer. The problem is that when the workout starts another interval it overrides this and goes back to ERG mode and suddenly dumps me at the mid point of the range ie 800w.
Once you are performing the actual workout you are back in Garmin’s workout experience, so this is not something that we can directly implement. But we will pass your comments on to Garmin.
