I've been using the web app including calendar functionality for about 2 years now. This year I've been attempting to do something new with my training calendar, but I'm not certain if it is possible, or at least it didn't work as expected.
I have gathered several training plans over the years and use them over an over again. I know which days I prefer to train and which days I'm not available to train on or which days I want to keep training free. I set those days as "unavailable" in the calendar and imported the plans, but the plans don't seem to respect those unavailable flags in the calendar.
What would be nice to have would either have the training plan import respect those blocked days or during the import ask the athlete/coach which days are available for training. I am constantly moving trainings around and when I've got a 12 week plan, it's a lot of moving things around. Yes, I know there is a feature to shift workouts, but that will shift the entire workout and still disregard availability. Perhaps this is something that can be incorporated.
Now that I have thought about, it might be "easier" with the first option. The athlete would just setup a calendar setting that says "Available to train"
[x] Monday
[ ] Tuesday
[x] Wednesday
[x] Thursday
[ ] Friday
[x] Saturday
[ ] Sunday
The days with 'x' would be used during applying plans and such. And if the athlete adds other availability dates in the future, those could be taken into account as well. The calendar could also visualise this information with an availability flag.
