Want to get more users, allow to have rides on TP virtual go to strava and garmin.

TP Team - it's planned since Nov 2024 c'mon ... one year and you are not able to integrate it?

I tried TPV today worked nice but my data after uploading to Garmin are not counting in as real training...
I'm returning to Zwift ...

Definitely requires a connection with Garmin. While workouts are being synced to TP, there is no automatic forwarding to Garmin. This needs fixing as manual workaround via FIT files is not acceptable.

I'm aware of the hold ups on the Garmin side, but I having this would be an absolute game changer.

I think the problem is at the Garmin end, they are not allowing any new direct inputs and I think this is because they have launched their own premium subscription service. it's a pain in the bum but I don't think TPv can do anything about it other than try and and lobby garmin. Why is this such an issue for delivery when Training Peaks has full integration with Garmin Connect in both ways already? Surely this can be added to the link that is already in place?

I am still using Zwift (would rather be on TPV) because of the lack of TPV uploading completed workouts to Garmin . While TP is my main source of performance data, Garmin keeps a lot of general health data as well and none of the TPV workouts would ever show. I see below that people are doing some sort of download workaround. I don't know how to do that. I don't see why TP can export a workout file to my Garmin head unit, but not a completed workout to Garmin Connect. Would rather avoid a workaround.

Much rather have this integration than enhanced graphics for example.

As I understand there are issues with Garmin not being open to cooperation but it would be nice if there was an update of this being implemented, if ever

I agree with Mark Walby. it's very easy to save a workout from TP onto the computer then upload it to garmin. I usually do a weeks' worth at a time and if you inadvertently try and upload the same workout twice garmin will realise and stop you form doing that so there are never any duplications. having said that, given that you have training peaks with it's much greater emphasis on analysis I'm not sure what I get from sending TPv workouts to garmin other than a sense of completeness. everything I need is in TP.

Until this happens, I download my activity from TP and then upload into Garmin. People on here saying its a deal breaker to have this working is slightly going overboard in my opinion!

Hope you move forward asap this sync issue. To-date I have to pay to RunGap app as they sync my TPV workout recorded in Strava to Garmin… and that’s not perfect because then I have a duplicated in TP that already synced from TPV. I know that you have to find out all things related to Garmin API and so on but please, here is the people writing but I have many friends quitting from TPV just for this reason and coming back to MyWhoosh or Zwift. Many thanks!

As soon as Garmin integration and metrics are fully available like it is in Zwift I will jump ship from Zwift to TP Virtual in a heartbeat. Without Garmin integration it is a total dealbreaker for me.

Hi I am new to TP and TP virtual. I believe that I have set up to allow my TP rides to appear in Garmin connect. My workouts synch from TP to Garmin.
My outdoor rides from TP also appear in Garmin but my virtual rides don't appear. Is this a setting that I have incorrect or something TP virtual needs to fix? I am enjoying TP and TP virtual. At the moment I have the 14 day trial, as long as I like it, I will subscribe to premium
