Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.

There's no doubt that the documentation can be improved, and we'll make that happen.

In the meantime, Zen mode can be activated from Main Menu > Options > UI Settings and will turn off the display of other riders (and their chat) allowing you to ride in peace and just focus on your own training!

More support for this idea here:

    https://peaksware.uservoice.com/forums/964442-trainingpeaks-virtual-customer-feedback/suggestions/49248908-it-you-be-great-to-have-the-option-of-an-introvert

I currently use a samsung tablet running TrainerRoad, connected via usb-hub-to-HDMI to an external monitor playing a movie for my rides. I would prefer to use TPv, but I find the 3D environment too distracting while I'm watching a film.

I would love to see a data-only view.

I'm glad my suggestion was merged here, but I'd like to say that my preference would be to add Strong integration with Training Peaks while also continuing development of the TP Strength Workouts.

Strong already has a nearly perfect strength training app, and while I love that these features are being added to TP, I'd like to use Strong rather than wait for the ongoing development efforts to catch up to their awesome system.

A very quick-to-implement integration solution would be to allow importing the .csv which Strong exports.

Strong for Android and iOS is arguably the best strength training app out there. Its feature set is perfect and should be the model for TrainingPeaks' Strength builder feature.

    - Create workouts on the fly (search/add/delete exercises and sets)
    - record RPE for each set
    - calculate expected 1-Rep-Max for each set
    - rest timer
    - workout values update from previous event, user can easily re-use previous lift values or change the value
    - unobtrusive exercise instructions and animated instructional videos built-in.

Completing workouts in Strong should fulfill planned Strength workouts in TrainingPeaks ("complete as planned").

Strong is also capable of exporting all workout data in .csv format. Please allow for importing this file.

+1, this would be good to see. It currently works with Scheduled Workouts (duration based only; not distance)

All around streamlining of TPv with regard to connections would be great.

+1 to offline mode. App shouldn't need to constantly refresh in order to preserve last loaded data.

+1 for Dark theme, but Theming in general would be a great improvement on the web interface. Allow custom colors for all charts and interface elements. Theme customization

Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.

In general, some degree of gamification can be good, but we need to be careful not to go too far - for example, we would not want to do anything that encouraged an athlete to train when it would be better for them to be resting etc.

It's therefore an area we will certainly be looking at, but at this stage it's unclear what changes we may or may not make.

When using the new Strength Builder tool, I can enter the lift information via mobile app, but if I also record heart rate and other metrics via Garmin Connect, I end up with two cards on my calendar for the same activity.

The ability to merge cards would be very helpful in eliminating duplicate cards for the same event.

An engineering spike/estimate has been done on this update. There are dependencies that make the effort larger, but we do plan to prioritize this in the future. We have been working through the top requests here in Uservoice and this is absolutely one of the top ones.
