Update RPE scale to reflect Session RPE vs. In the moment RPE
May want to reflect on the scale and cue words given in TrainingPeaks slider for post-workout ratings of RPE and Feeling.
I believe the intention is to rate SESSION RPE (sRPE) more than instant RPE given it is done after the workout as a reflection on how hard that workout was ?
The training Peaks scale seems to reflect RPE during a workout (e.g. conversation difficult) but this is not what the after the workout necessarily means ?
The Borg Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) scale is a frequently used patient reported measure of exercise intensity which rates momentary perceived exertion during exercise [13]. Session RPE (sRPE), reported via the category ratio 10 Borg scale (CR-10 RPE) [14], provides a rating of exertion for the exercise session as a whole [15]. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11843880/
The referenced CR10 scale may be different (?) for session RPE and might be confused if include words like 'heavy breathing' or 'conversation becomes difficult' since the person isn't breathing heavy after they clean up from the workout and go to rate the workout and may have had some periods like that but may not rank it as very hard (e.g. a couple sprints in an otherwise very easy ride)
