Export completed Strength Builder workouts with exercise-level data
Feature Request: Export Completed Strength Builder Workout Data
TrainingPeaks Strength Builder allows athletes to record detailed strength-training sessions, including exercises, sets, repetitions and weights lifted.
However, there is currently no facility to export this completed exercise-level data for historical analysis.
Requested functionality
Introduce a CSV and/or JSON export facility for completed Strength Builder workouts, including:
- Workout date and session name
- Exercise names
- Actual sets completed
- Actual repetitions completed for each set
- Actual weights lifted for each set, including units
- Planned versus completed values, where available
Ideally, athletes should be able to select a date range and export multiple completed sessions together.
Why this would be valuable
Athletes and coaches need to monitor strength development over time, including progression in weights, repetitions and total training volume.
For endurance athletes, this information is particularly useful when analysing the relationship between strength training, cycling or running performance, fatigue and recovery.
Currently, the data can be viewed within individual completed workouts but cannot easily be analysed across multiple sessions.
Providing an export facility would allow athletes and coaches to use spreadsheets and external analytical tools to gain greater value from the training data they have already recorded.
Additional suggestion
Consider providing access to completed Strength Builder exercise data through the TrainingPeaks API, subject to appropriate authorisation, enabling integration with external coaching and analysis platforms.
