Make StackUp Optional
Users should be able to opt in or out of StackUp.
I’m sure I’m not unique in the TP community in that I’m training intentionally (and using a coach) because I want to make improvements in my life. I’m a heavier athlete and already have a complicated set of feelings when I show up on race day in a tri suit with all of my competition then cross the finish line close to the back of the pack. I need to remind myself that we’re all on a journey. I made the mistake of opening up the StackUp beta when…

Elevation gain
not currently an active feature for the planned portion of the workout. Can be so helpful if it was possible for the trail runners and coaches!

NGP available in Charts, Graphs and Scatter Plot
For trail runners will be useful to have NGP available in graphs and scatter plots.
Also charts like Time in Speed Zone to be based also on NGP.10 votes -
Search for events by name, description, and/or date
Would be nice for events both past and future to be searchable by their name and/or description.

Peak VAM chart
For mountain runners and skimo racers a peak VAM chart similar to the peak power and peak HR charts would be really useful. You could see your best VAM for varying durations and track improvements over time.

for running workouts, display both power metrics and NGP
To see NGP in running workout analysis metrics, you have to toggle back and forth between TSS and rTSS selection on the summary screen. This is a pain point as it as a lot of slow screen switching when analyzing laps or segments of workouts. Display both NGP and power metrics for running workouts when power is available.

peak performance Filters: Indoor/Outdoor and Normalized
Provide Added functionality to 'Peak Performance' feature that allows to see 5s, 1min, 5min, 10min, etc based on virtual or outdoor rides. Also, add capability to see peak performances based on normalized power.

Median Heart Rate
Hi, it is possible to add the ability to select median heart rate rather than average? If there are enough outliers in the data, it will skew the results. As an example, I just completed an hour run. My heart rate settled in to a range of 130-132 for most of the run but since there was a ramp in the beginning and at the end, they were included and it skewed the average down. I have also seen this have a larger impact on treadmill runs where I had to stop momentarily to start another session since I exceeded…

Validate/Sanity Check Peak Performances
For Peak Performances, if I set a new record that's greater than 25% more than my previous, I feel it should ask me to confirm if it's valid. Or at least some checks that I'm not running faster than Usain Bolt's 100m mph for a full mile, or swimming faster than Michael Phelps or biking faster than Lance Armstrong, etc... For those of us that live in a city and the buildings the GPS can be inaccurate and cause wildly incorrect times and an upper bound would be quite useful.

I have a proposed enhancement for workout analysis. I'd like to be able to set a power threshold
I have a proposed enhancement for workout analysis. I'd like to be able to set a power threshold using a vertical slider alongside the analysis graph. The graph would highlight each time my power was above this threshold showing the length of time I was above it. This would help me analyse multiple efforts during the same ride e.g. sprint intervals or 30s efforts above FTP. The tool could work in exactly the same way with heart rate.

Addition of Scatter Plot Functionality to Dashboards for Enhanced Data Analysis
Hi Peakers,
I'd like to request the addition of the Scatter Plot function, currently available in individual analyses, to the Dashboards section as well. This function should include variables such as Pace, HR (Heart Rate), Power, Cadence, Step Length, etc., plotted against Distance, Time, Temperature, etc. Importantly, it would be highly beneficial if the analysis could incorporate not just peak values but also averages or median values. This is because training sessions occur more frequently than competitive events where peak performance is observed.
Furthermore, it would be great to have the option to construct a chart showing minimum, maximum, average,…

Having a training pace calculator on Training Peak and Training Peak mobile app
Hi guys, As a coach sometimes the question is asked by our athletes when doing track sessions what the time is for each lap or segment. For example if I wanted my athletes to run a 900m continuous effort at slightly faster paces for each 300m then I would normally go to a website and plug in the information. This would be good to have on the Training Peaks website and Mobile app to be able to calculate at the time speaking with the athletes (especially if you are not the greatest with math calculations quickly). So in my example…

rtss
Improve rTSS calculation method. Currently it is based exclusively on average pace. So if you do a hard workout, say that gives you 80 rTSS points, and then you jog to cool down, the rTSS score diminishes. Let's say to 70. This makes absolutely no sense. The algorithm needs to be changed to actually make sense. Since I learned this, I end my workout before cooling down. So I either disregard the cool down TSS, or I have to upload two different workouts.
If you look at the lap chart, you will quickly see that in an interval workout the…

Weekly Report Generation across a group of athletes for various metrics
It would be great if you could facilitate Weekly Report Generation across a group or groups of athletes.
To think of just a few useful metrics one could include:
TSS, duration, total distance and elevation, AP/NP, Pmax, longest ride highest EF or IF perhaps
The reports could be done monthly, annually or date ranged perhaps for even greater functionality.this tool would be great a coach's own group of athletes to foster community/share learning
it also the offers a springboard to share such data in the form of leaderboards across the whole TP community (possibly)...
Is such a tool available…

Add the option to create a custom metric
Currently when tracking metrics for athletes or oneself, you must choose from a preset selection of options, which obviously does not include every possible concern. When coaching athletes with less common concerns, it would be very useful to be able to add a custom metric so that one could track that specific symptom without having to write a note about it each time. One example of this would be migraine headache. Another would be an athlete with intermittent chronotropic incompetence, or HR issues related to intermittent beta blocker usage, for example for arrhythmia or performance anxiety. Adding every foreseeable medical…

implement carbohydrate/fat combustion to training zones
it would be nice, if it is possible to add Fat/Carbohydrate- and of course the overall energy Combustion data from a lab test (e.g. Inscyd, Spiro) to the training zones. So it would be possible to automatically calculate e.g. the fat/carbohydrate combustion during a training session/training week. I think, that would be a great improvement For all coaches, who use those lab tests. Other Platforms (todays plans, azum) already have this feature...

Feature Suggestion: Bulk Edit Workout Data for Greater Flexibility
I’d love to see a bulk-edit feature for workouts, especially useful for runners like me who switch to treadmill training in winter. Currently, my Garmin Watch records inaccurate pace data on the treadmill, even with calibration, which only adjusts the average pace. This results in skewed metrics like TSS and Peak Performance.
When I program interval training in TrainingPeaks, each segment is recorded as a separate lap. To correct the data, I'd like the option to manually enter a single pace value for each lap, rather than editing every second of data individually. This would save significant time and ensure…

Sleep metrics in hrs:min:sec
data in sleep metrics is currently measured in % hr. It should be measured in hrs:min:sec, like the time field in workouts.
also, more generally, it would be good to have a general custom field where athletes can track a bespoke metric which may not be currently available to be measured in metrics. thanks.
