Feedback on Suunto Workout sync
I have been testing the new Workout sync to Suunto S9 watch using the new Suuntoplus Guides. A couple of suggestions:
1) Show repeat number - Could be be in text at start of repeat, or in header on data screen
2) Audible alert when outside target range -maybe beep on threshold, or 5 sec interval beeps when under or over
3) Next step on Lap button press selection didn't seem to work for me
4) Text is quite small - maybe cut down on number of fields displayed and have larger text for key fields, or have a second…1 vote -
Billing features separately
I'm on the premium trial and I'm pretty impressed at the PMC chart. I'd like to check back on it from time to time but the 15 day trial is a tad short to get much from it, since the changes are fairly long term.
I wouldn't get enough from premium since I'm already using other tools to do some of the things that TP does and at the moment it's out of my budget.
Would it be possible to have a billing system that charges for features separately? e.g. I want to look at a PMC graph once or…
4 votesWe appreciate the feedback and understand that this option my be ideal for some users but it's unlikely something we'll pursue at this time due to its complexity and low demand.

Average CTL
It would be useful, if you could get the average CTL (and others) over a time range such as 45 days, 90 days, 180 days, etc. When training for events the average CTL is a good indication of your readiness for the event. I have seen articles that state to do do this event you need to have averaged XX CTL for 6 months.

Create challenges for groups of athletes
It'd be great to allow athletes to compete against each other. The dimensions should be time, power, distance, etc.
Also it should be possible to aggregate caloric expenditure per KG of weight per various periods.

Calculate Estimated Calories in Planned Workout Based on Avg. Power/KJ Estimate
It would be amazing to be able to estimate the caloric need of a given planned workout by giving an estimated power, or estimated KJ/work to then estimate the athletes caloric need for that given session.

TrainerRoad Power Zones (Cycling)
May I suggest to add the TrainerRoad Power Zones as Cycling power drop-down?

Create a XML data stream (oData or the like) of all workout data for reporting.
There are a bunch of data analysis tools (PowerBI from Microsoft for one) that will injest xml data streams and allow some pretty amazing reporting. It would be great to be able to point other reporting tools at our data to allow for custom graphing.
3 votesWorkout and metrics data can be exported to a CSV file, which can then be imported into 3rd party tools for further analysis.
To Export Data, log into your account and click on your name in the upper right corner and click on Settings. Then, click on Export Data. More information on exporting data can be found here:

Linear ramps up and down
Could you please add two blocks to build workout:
- a linear ramp up (not with steps) from a bottom to a summit
- a linear ramp down from a summit to a bottomSorry for my English and thanks in advance
1 voteMost devices and apps do not support a linear ramp step. The Computrainer platform supported this, but is not longer in development. Our current stepped ramp can be configured to have up to 40 steps, with each step defaulting to a 1% increase in FTP over the previous step. This provides a very linear ramp up. A note of caution though, each device and app has its own limit on the number of steps that it supports in a single workout, so this feature may not be compatible with every device or app.

I use TrainingPeaks to track my progress doing DVD workouts like P90X3, Insanity Max :30. How about some features for that?
I've used TrainingPeaks for many years. But I don't race bikes or run. I'm 61 years old. I use TrainingPeaks to track my progress on DVD workouts like P90X3 and Insanity Max :30. How about adding some features that fit these types of general cross-training workouts?
5 votesRight now there are no plans to add additional features for tracking these types of workouts. I recommend checking out www.trainheroic.com. They do a pretty good job at just that.

Allow entering nutrient info as workout metric
Allow Adding nutrient info per workout (eg fields for grams of carbs, fat and protein consumed during the workout). This would allow you to review past workout nutritional info that worked well for a certain type of workout
1 voteWe have partnered with MyFitnessPal for nutrition tracking. For the time being there are no plans to add additional nutrition features to TrainingPeaks.
More information on the MyFitnessPal integration can be found here:

Slow down the upload process from Garmin connect to ensure titles and comments get uploaded
As above
6 votesWe would actually like to speed it up! However, the speed of the sync is not the issue. When using the GarminSync feature, the original device file is sent from Garmin Connect to TrainingPeaks. Since we receive the original file edits that are made on Garmin Connect would be in the file. Adding to that, the current .FIT file format does not have a field for title nor comment, so there is no place to even put those items. In the end we prefer to receive the original file, so there are no plans at this time to change the current behavior. Tapiriik uses a different API to communicate with Garmin. I am not sure, but the title and comments may be preserved using that service.

API updated to allow premium user access to retrieve CTL (Fitness), ATL (Fatigue), and TSB (Form).
I would like to make a custom widget type app that displays this data for me at a glance instead of opening up the application or website.

Add Aquabike as an option in the Virtual Coach program
Aquabike is the fastest growing division in USA Triathlon rankings - but your virtual coach program does not offer plans for Aquabike athletes (who don't run...). The primary distances are 1/2 Iron and Olympic - maybe you could start by adding programs for those?
1 voteVirtual Coach was retired from the classic app on June 3, 2015. At this time a replacement is not in the works.

Facebook icon and text for shared activity
Hi, as premium user I don't want to see the default text assiciated with shared activity on Facebook "Free training....". I believe that once I pay yearly fee my shared activities should be free of TP adds and instead of that
a) delete this sentense and keep just data from the activity
b) delete and instead of default text insert "Post activity comment"1 vote -
If I wanted to use Myfitnesspal I would have continued with them instead of moving to training peaks over 2 yrs ago. Your new version SUCKS!
Revert to allow meal plans. I will no longer use and request a prorated refund. Myfitnesspal was not what I expected.

MyFitnessPal Needs More Meal Type Categories
MyFitnessPal Needs More Meal Type Categories
I learned that TP is dropping the nutrition portion and having users utilize MyFitnessPal instead. In MyFitnessPal there is only "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks". The great part of TP was that you could make a meal anytime. For example - I'd add AM workout nutrition, or Late Night Snack. You could then look at the TP day and see the flow of what happened (e.g. woke up, ate pre workout nutrition, swim workout, recovery nutrition, then breakfast, mid AM snack, etc...). MyFitnessPal will not allow you to do this. Is there any plan…
1 voteWe will relay your suggestion to MFP. Until then the solution given in the comments seems to solve part of the issue.

HR Limit
Add the ability to set an upper limit to HR.... i.e. have system ignore any HR value over X or max sustainable HR
1 voteGood suggestion, but we are continually working to improve “smart” techniques to filter spikes and such without requiring user intervention, which is the direction we’d like to continue to pursue rather than setting artifical limits.
