Linear ramps up and down
Could you please add two blocks to build workout:
- a linear ramp up (not with steps) from a bottom to a summit
- a linear ramp down from a summit to a bottom
Sorry for my English and thanks in advance
Most devices and apps do not support a linear ramp step. The Computrainer platform supported this, but is not longer in development. Our current stepped ramp can be configured to have up to 40 steps, with each step defaulting to a 1% increase in FTP over the previous step. This provides a very linear ramp up. A note of caution though, each device and app has its own limit on the number of steps that it supports in a single workout, so this feature may not be compatible with every device or app.

Could this be re-evalutated and re-opened? Many users Zwift and this feature are supported (see attached) for a step if it's 1st or last step (warm up or cool down) of a workout.
Even if not supported in erg mode, the coach can better communicate and Rx workout range if allowed to input a suggested start and end that may be a ramp down, for example 140% down to 110% for a peak and fade style interval.

If you know the device limits, allow us to use as smooth a ramp as possible with us setting a bottom step and top step range and allowing a formula to break them into appropriate step increments. It won't be an entirely smooth ramp, but it will approximate one.
