  1. Add the ability to create recurring events, daily, weekly, monthly, etc. until a certain date or a certain number of times.

    As another commenter has already noted, TrainingPeaks Virtual deliberately doesn't expose the ability to create recurring events to avoid spam on the calendar. You can however already just press the "copy" button which is displayed against your previously run events to create another one very easily (but deliberately, only one at a time).

  2. The virtual speed in the game is calculated based on power. Unfortunately, the real speed of rotation of the wheel in a trainer very often does not correspond to the virtual speed. There is also no real response of the virtual speed to the change in cadence. I suggest you study the problem in detail and try to bring the behavior of the virtual bike closer to the real one. This is very important for the correct choice of real gears.

    As another commenter has already noted, this isn't possible with the current trainer hardware as the hardware isn't aware of all the other factors that are happening in the virtual world.

    In the future, then it would of course be great to be able to implement it, but to set expectations, that would require a new generation of trainer hardware to do.

  3. I am using TP Virtual on multiple devices, but cannot access my active team or kit on more than the device on which I initially set it up. It would be advantageous if I could use the team and kit where ever I logon. If I am missing something regarding this process, please direct me accordingly. Thank You

    Note that teams and team kits are already automatically available to you on any and all devices that you use. I strongly suspect that you therefore must be logging into you different devices with different accounts (i.e. you log on with one account which has membership of a team, but on another device you log on with a different account that doesn't have membership of that team).

    Rather than track this here as a feature request, please can you reach out to the Customer Support team (virtual@trainingpeaks.com) who can help you with this.

  4. I would like to use it on Apple TV 4K. But it doesn't detect my Elite drivo 1 trainer. Other platforms detect it just fine

    This is almost certainly an issue to do with the fundamental limitations of the Bluetooth hardware in the Apple TV, rather than anything to do with your Drivo per se.

    Please note that whilst this specific suggestion is therefore declined, there is already an open suggestion (which is planned) to improve connectivity more generally to Apple TV through the use of a separate app which will help bypass the hardware limitation.

  5. Many people wish bots (or humans) to be identified when racing. During races there should be an option to identify bots/humans. This could be on a toggle switch to suit both those who wish to identify bots and also those who do not wish to identify bots.

    We take it as a huge compliment that it is not possible to tell the difference between a bot and a human when racing!

    After an event, the event organiser can choose to be immediately emailed with the results of the event, and these will indicate to them who was human and who was a bot - it is then deliberately left as a choice for the organiser whether to share that with the participants or not.

  6. Please fix the Kickr Bike Steering control. Currently, when I press the left button to steer left, my bike continues all the way to the left, which is the middle of the road—conversely, the same when steering right. In other words, I can't position my bike where I want/need it to be.

  7. Help. Scheduled workouts not showing up on Virtual. Training Peaks account synced with TP Virtual. Any ideas? It exported to my Wahoo Element Bolt.

    This is likely to be because your workout is in a format not currently supported by TrainingPeaks Virtual. Please feel free to reach out to the TrainingPeaks Virtual Customer Support team (virtual@trainingpeaks.com) who may be able to help you with this.

  8. Near the end of the Three Peaks ride with roughly 5 miles to go the resistance just went, all other things like cadence ect were working. I could get my watts to show but they'd just go up and i would end up spinning out. It was all fine up until that point?

  9. During the race on a downhill slope, the resistance suddenly increased as if I were climbing a 15% incline, and it persisted for a long time, leaving me exhausted. To fix this, I stopped, and everything returned to normal. However, it was too difficult to catch up with the group afterward. IS THIS A BUG? WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS? HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. My setup includes Windows 11 on an 11th gen i3 all-in-one PC with 16 GB of RAM, and my connection is via ANT+ using a USB ANT+ stick from AliExpress.…

    This is something that is probably better handled by the TrainingPeaks Virtual Customer Support team, rather than as a request for a new feature. If you reach out to them at virtual@trainingpeaks.com they should be able to help you resolve this.

    It's worth noting though that TrainingPeaks Virtual already fully supports dual recording, so you can just pair everything to TPV and get a dual-recording file that way, rather than needing to use a complex multi-device set up (which I strongly suspect is the root cause of the issue you're seeing).

  10. When recording a workout, the calculated TSS is displayed on the screen and the same is displayed when you finish the workout. But when the workout is loaded into training peaks, it displays a different TSS, even though the services are synchronized and the data should be identical.

    Any discrepancy in values is almost certainly due to your FTP or weight not being set to the same values in TrainingPeaks and TrainingPeaks Virtual. If you ensure that these are synchronized (in TrainingPeaks Virtual, use the option on Main Menu > Profile > My Profile), then the TSS values should be identical.

  11. Hello: I've tested on a XPS 9343 and doesn't appear anything, black screen, after load everything and evermore.
    Over iPhone XS and iPad Air 2, I can reach the world, but doesn't respond at all with my bluetooth devices (even paired) Coospo HW9 doesn't recognize as heartbeat sensor, my static bike is a Bodytone SMB v1.2.
    You have to do many things yet... seems powerful, but needs to be accesible for everyone.

  12. Hello,
    today i had my first Workout at TrainingPeaks Virtual. I choosen my Quarq Powermeter via ANT+ and track the Workout in the same time with my Gamin Edge 840. The overall Wattage is nearly the same, but when i compared the peak power per time, there are high differences. If you want, take a look at the Data, powered by DC Rainmaker Analyser:

    Hi Michael - many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.

    The power data displayed (and written out to FIT files) in TrainingPeaks Virtual is just the raw data being transmitted from your powermeter - there's no filtering or interpretation etc of the values. If TPV says you're doing 200 Watts, then it's because your powermeter has told TPV that you're doing 200 Watts.

    As such, any discrepancy between multiple recordings is as a result of your powermeter sending different values to different devices.

  13. I accidentally turned off my Bluetooth and I cannot find at all where to turn the Bluetooth back on. Consequently, I cannot run my TPV. I need to get this fixed ASAP so I can train indoors. Can you please help me as soon as possible? Great.

    Whether a trainer can be calibrated by a third party application or not is determined by the trainer firmware, so unfortunately this is something that would need to be enabled by Wahoo, rather than something that TrainingPeaks Virtual can change.

  15. The MPH to calibrate your bike is 23mph..... is it possible to lower that to 17 or 18 mph? I don't care how hard I try I am not able to get up to 23 mph so I have not been able to use ERG mode at all.

    Unfortunately the speed required for trainer calibration is determined by the trainer firmware, and not by TrainingPeaks Virtual. All TrainingPeaks Virtual does is display whatever speed is requested by the trainer. As such, this is something that you would need to follow up with your trainer manufacturer to get them to change it.

    Note that the Kickr Climb is designed to only pair directly with the Kickr, and not with any other application (including TrainingPeaks Virtual). TrainingPeaks Virtual sends gradient data to your trainer, and then the trainer relays that information to the Kickr Climb.

    It's therefore correct that you can't pair the Climb to TrainingPeaks Virtual...that's not a bug, but the device working as Wahoo intended it to work.

    The calibration process is entirely managed by the firmware on the trainer, and TrainingPeaks Virtual merely displays whatever information that the trainer broadcasts. As such, this is something that you would need to speak with Wahoo about.

  18. Is it me or am I seeing stray bullets in the game? It MUST be wind or the game trying to illistrate wind.

    Honestly, if it's wind visualitions, (to me) it looks like Im getting shot at ...laughing

    I think my FTP improved !! lol

  20. Come up with a solution so that, even if one of the racing categories is Carbon, a rider is given an ARR rating.
    As example, my ARR defaults to 200 at present as I am Carbon in climbing, however if my other 3 ratings are added together and divided by 4, my potential ARR would be around 650. That seems a fair way to categorise me as 200 is too low

    This is working as intended - your ARR is your all-rounder ranking (literally A.R.R.) and therefore reflective of your abilities across all types of riding. If you don't do many climbing events, and therefore there's no climbing data for TPV to accurately categorise your climbing ability, then it also can't calculate your ARR.

    If you do another couple of climbing events, then you will get an ARR....but if you're not an all rounder, then you won't have an all-rounder ranking!
