  1. Currently there is an option for organizers to set trainer difficulty to maximum for all riders. However, there are some very steep slopes in TPV and not everyone has the gear range for those hills. But it still might be nice to enforce a minimum of 50% trainer difficulty so that all riders would feel the wind, braking, and slope and have to change gears accordingly.

  2. First, many thanks for implenting ZWO file import into our TP workout libraries (TPv 0.4.7)!

I mentioned this back in the days of IndieVelo but I'll request it again here.

Xert uses a fairly dynamic concept of Threshold Power that changes according to how well you are performing the training. It can decay as well as increase during a training micro-cycle. When Xert generates ZWO files it enters the user's Threshold Power into the ZWO file as <ftpoverride>ThresholdPowerWATTS</ftpoverride>. Please enable TPv honour this override.

  3. I'm running TrainingPeaks Virtual on a Samsung tablet. Everything works fine, except for heart rate. I have a Garmin HRM, which is detected and paired. It shows the battery level for the HRM, but not any heart rate reading. This makes it pointless for me doing ride and workouts. I've done a couple, recording on my Garmin cycle computer, but that's less than ideal for syncing back to TrainingPeaks.

  4. Very occasionally I have DNF an event consisting of a lot of climbing, when it just isn't happening that day. I would like to be able to exit the event, but stay in the world so that I can either ride down the mountain or even just to do a bit of a cool down in the same activity.

  5. During a free ride, if I wanted to get a specific location like the arena, it would be nice to select a waypoint and have a route dynamically created that navigates me to that point.

  6. The wahoo heart rate monitor does not reliably connect to TrainingPeaks Virtual. When it does not connect you are locked out of events. It’s frustrating. Thanks Martin

  7. TP Virtual does not detect my ANT+ usb stick if it isn't connected on startup of the software (windows)

It does work fine if the ANT+ adapter is connected during startup.

This is a little annoying as you need to restart the software before being able to use ANT+.

  9. Highlight avatar so it’s easier to see during group rides/races. Especially important for team events when avatars have the same club kit on!

  10. Custom signs using the waypoint feature in gpx files could add a lot to custom routes. Course makers could add in signs for the start of climbs, summits, altitudes, various distance markers, towns, etc. It would help orient riders on the course and add a lot of immersion.

It seems like it could use the current banner style but pull text from the gpx waypoint to display

  11. For custom made routes can we have the option to set the mini map to a real world map like Google maps or similar so we can see where we are. With the virtual routes it can be hard to visualise where you are without the usual real world landmarks. This has been implemented on Biketerra and it makes the riding of custom routes better in my opinion.

  12. Looks great, and thank you for the new route. Would be cool to add some iconic real world features like the tight archway of rocks, etc.

  13. I would love to see the estimated time that TPV thinks I will take for a given route. When I am selecting a route to ride it already in theory has my FTP so just like Zwift it can give me an estimate of how long it thinks I will take to do a route (or show me a previous performance). I want this because I often want to choose something which I can do in X amount of time and it is tough for me to estimate currently.

To be clear I would like to see this when I…

  14. The rider location symbol in the mini map disappears against light terrain backgrounds. Outline it in a dark color or make it red or green or something so it isn’t impossible to see in certain light colored terrains on the mini map.

  15. Type 1 : "Win and out"
    * The opposite of the current elimination system : if you're first on the line, you win the race. The next sprint will determine top 2, etc

    Type 2 : "Handicap race"
    * the platform automatically computes a time penalty. Riders are then automatically released at said time penalty : weakest rider goes first. Strongest rider goes last and has to catch up with everyone. Organizer can decide if the draft is on or off

    Type 3: "Battle Royale":
A rider is eliminated when being overtaken by an "enemy" pacer bot. The pacer bot…

  17. There was previously a feature request for this, but I think it was incorrectly marked as completed.

It would be good to be able to store your custom workout files in the cloud (i.e. as an enhancement to TrainingPeaks) so that they are available across all of your devices. The file sizes are only very small so this should be feasible even for very large libraries.

Whilst you can add a workout to TP to have it available in TPV, if you don't have access to the file in the first place because it's on your home PC and…

  18. Allow the KICKR to change the gradient of the KICKR Climb when doing a workout from the Train menu.

Using the Climb remote control you can already lock it if you want to, so allow users to have it vary automatically if they want. If there is a training reason then maybe add a message recommending user to keep it at 0%.

  20. Would it be possible to have TPVirtual installed in a folder other than the documents folder? 2 reasons:
    1. I want to keep my documents folder clean.
    2. The documents folder is synced with OneDrive, so everytime I download an update for TPVirtual, OneDrive immedeately uploads it to the cloud. I have a very slow internet connection with only 2 Mbit/s upload speed and cannot get a better one here. My whole family is angry because the internet is unusable for a long time.
