  1. You can turn off cadence warnings but not power warnings. The **** **** sound and text on screen are more warning than I want.

  2. When setting up a group ride or group workout, there should be an option to select a kit from the organiser's locker and have this auto assigned to all riders in the event. This is good for coached sessions, coach marketing, event organiser marketing etc.

  5. Suggestion: Please add a “Fondo” or “Sportive” mode where bots ride at varied abilities and intensities, rather than all being matched to my ARR (solo race mode) or tethered to my power (group ride mode).

In this mode, bots would span a broad performance range — some faster, some slower — and ride at their own pace. This would allow natural groups to form, split, and merge, just like in a real‑world sportive. Riders could choose to sit in with a steady group, bridge to a faster one, or ease back to a slower pack, without artificial tethering.

    Why it…

  6. I’d like to be able to have in-game voice chat for those riding near me to easily communicate, as I would do outside.

Something like “press a keyboard key” and be within +/- 5 meters to enable talking to those riders in-game?

This could help with the socialization on group rides as well as tactically working with riders within the breakaway

Obviously this is something you can disable if you are not interested

  8. A user of Rouvy for years, with dabbles in Zwift, Wahoo System, etc., and I’d largely settled on TrainerRoad for the past few years due to its clarity in use. Simple on screen graphics, informative, etc.

But it does get a bit boring, so I was excited to try the TPVirutal. Oooff. All notes are using iPad Pro with latest version.

    • Login screen does not remember me, even when the box is checked. It’s a pain to have to login each time with user name and password. And using biometrics would be nice for login.
    • Font selection is brutal. Looks…

  9. It is likely I completely missed something but if so it is likely something that many of the (hopefully) new users will have an issue with if they aren't familiar with TP / TPV and are moving over from another platform.

I am new to Training Peaks and Virtual but have experience on "The Sufferfest". Today I did the Critical Power Test. When I went to look at the zones, the values therein had nothing to do with my test results. I am learning that there are many ways to calculate the zones and this needs to be done by…

  10. When using the pause workout the stats that are uploaded to TP and Strava are different. The time it was paused still shows as time for that period and then the power and other stats are rounded down. Can the pause time not be showed in the uploaded ride?

  11. Can the target power be larger as its hard to see on small devices.

Also the bar at top of the screen that appears to move at will.... can that instead sit central based on target power and move to the left or right if you drift above or below the target power. Similar to the dial on zwift companion.

  12. Add target cadence values for intervals in the left Workout Data panel if they are specified in the workout. This is necessary so that you are prepared for changing cadence in the next interval.

  13. Currently, on iPad, when you extend your screen to another (larger) screen you can only extend rear or side views.
It would be much better if I could extend the main HUD screen to the larger screen and choose the iPad to show one of the less important screen (eg rear view)

  14. When creating a group ride, would be great to be able to set the # of bots you want added to humans.

Today, # of bots is determined by max # of riders less the # of humans that sign up. But in most cases don’t know how many humans will sign up for a group ride ahead of time, so can have too many bots.

  15. As it seems that there is zero tolerance from the performance verification when a cadence signal dropout occurs, and as cadence sensors are really cheap devices, I think it can be really helpful to be able to pair 2 cadence sensors so we have a backup in case of something going wrong and the PV will not kick us from the race.

  16. For PV DQs for e.g. micro-bursting, give one warning before DQ. This would give inadvertent riders an opportunity to reflect and correct, but not unduly help those trying to game the system. (In fact in this situation the only way to game the system is to pedal in a more satisfactory style anyway)

  17. In the meantime until the Garmin Connect integration is released, I've been using a self-written tool (https://github.com/jat255/fit_file_uploader) to automatically process the FIT files produced by TPVirtual and upload them to my Garmin Connect account using some third-party library tools.

One limitation (see https://github.com/jat255/fit_file_uploader/pull/13#issuecomment-2573526582) is that there's no way to access the name assigned to an activity by TPVirtual.

Examining the FIT file specification, it doesn't look to me like there's a standardized place to put an activity title, but perhaps a "developer data field" could be used for this (https://developer.garmin.com/fit/cookbook/developer-data/), instead? Either way, it would…

  18. It would be great if you could show the HUD and workout information just on a second screen (laptop in my case) just like a big bikecomputer and have the main (big) screen to just show the road ahead (or optionaly show HUD info on both)

  19. Hi

I train TPVirtual with iPad 13" PRO (iOS 18.1), GAME RELEASE 0.4.2 (latest).

When application starts everything sounds good.
    It works perfectly.

    But...
if you touch the display for any reason (just to give ride-on, change the view, give a look to the menù...) the risk (randomic events) is that the "menu and workout" commands appear in the bottom corner (on the left).
After 5" all the rest of the buttoms disappear (I mean the buttoms such "left... right... pause... view.. erg... kudos... intensity"... and so on) but the "menù" and "workout".

They remain visible in a "ON position"…

  20. As above, I’d like the ability to create/plan custom routes based on the existing roads on the island (ie not GPXlorer).
For example, I could do 2 laps of Laguna Seeker followed by 10 laps of crit course, followed by a finish on the velodrome.
Within this, the ability to add/remove custom banners and points locations and finishes
