Bike Maintenance Log
A bike maintenance and repair log integrated into TP would be very useful. Since the bike's cumulative mileage is being tracked by TP anyway, this could fit right in. While I hesitate to mention the competition, as an example, Strava has done a good job on this.
4 votesThanks for the suggestion. You can already track your maintenance on your bikes in the Equipment tracking functionality, by simply adding notes to the specific bike. Hope that helps.

Ground Control from TP not WKO+
I notice that WKO+ has Ground Control feature, explained by this article: http://blog.trainingpeaks.com/posts/2008/1/27/ground-control-elevation-correction-for-your-gps-device.html
As a user of the Garmin 310XT, or regardless, it'd be great to be able to enable elevation corrections from SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission), or even better, the GEDM (Global Digital Elevation Model) from within TP, without having to load up WKO+.
I do own a subscription to both WKO+ and TP, although I don't see why I should have to load WKO+ just so that the elevation can be corrected, when the data to correct the elevation requires an internet connection anyway! I'd rather pay…

Turn off/on Planned and Completed summaries
When setting up the Weekly Summary Options for Calendar View, would it be possible to add a couple of toggles to turn off/on the Planned and Completed summaries? I don't always need or want to view both and having just one or the other would make viewing easier.

ability to enter notes
I'd like to be able to leave a note on a future date as a reminder for my coach. For example, if I know I'm going to be traveling in 2 weeks, it'd be nice to be able to markup the calendar with a note as a reminder.
Currently, I enter a bogus workout, but a note would be more appropriate...
4 votesHi Rick,
Great news, as Henrik has already commented, this feature actually already exists! You can customize the Metrics section of your account to have a Notes field, which will add a note to the Calendar. Thanks,

Link to HTML viewer in the TrainingPeaks Mobile App
I'd like to have a link inside of every TrainingPeaks mobile app entry that would take me to the HTML viewer of that training session. Currently there's no access to that except through the post-workout notification e-mail's link.
4 votesJust wanted to give an update on this feature request and let you know that we have completed development of it. To find out how it works, please take a look at:

email notification of athlete's post workout comments and of changes to workouts
email notifications of
1. my own post workout comments: I like to have a record of the complete conversation with my coach in my email
2. changes to workouts: I put all my workouts into my personal calendar at the beginning of the week, when my coach assigns them. Sometimes he changes them later on, so I would like to get a change notification.4 votesWe already email when changes occur, make sure the stting

Abbreviated Calendar feature in Beta version would be great. To be able to see a month at a glance rather than just the "infinite scroll"

Poor timing for TP nutrition change to MFP
The middle of tri season is kind of a bad time for major change. Not happy about it, but I've started trying out MFP today. Not sure where I will find the time to print out all of my old meals, given we have less than 2 weeks notice.

Mobile app
Will the mobile app feature be re added to the Android devices in the future.
4 votesThe latest Android app added the same dashboard charts that were released to the iOS app over the summer. Based on the percentage of our customers using iOS vs Android devices, our iOS app will always lead Android the app. But Android will follow shortly after.

map zoom
The maps do not zoom in as far as in the Flex version or other fitness software. It's really helpful to be able to zoom in extremely closely in some situations, and often when looking at off-road cycling activities (e.g., cyclocross), it's very insightful to be able to see in close detail on the map the course ridden and a particular location of a highlighted portion of the workout. Please increase the zoom level possible!

Give the iPad app the same ability as the web
Give the iPad app the ability to work the same as the web when logged on as the coach. At the moment when I log on to the app I cannot see my athletes hidden workouts on the tablet

Allow Athletes to re-name and change the meaning of training periods in the ATP
There are hundreds of ways to create a training plan that works.
Traditional periods such as "Conditioning", "General Preparation", "Specific Preparation" and "Competition/Championship" are very common in most literature but the ATP can't be changed to fit any kind of different approach.
Please consider making a change to allow customers more flexibility to create their custom ATP.
Thanks!

TomTom MySport Sync
A few of my clients use a TomTom device and I would love for them to be able to directly sync with TrainingPeaks from TomTom Mysport.

Add mile splits to the run workout data.
This seems like an obvious feature. I can see the splits at Garmin Connect but not at TrainingPeaks. As a coach it really inhibits my ability to analyze run data.

Expanded calendar view in new Group View is too expanded
The new Group View is great … except for one key detail. The calendar can viewed in either a compact or "expanded" view (not sure if expanded is the right term here), but the expanded view is way too big and isn't consistent with how workouts are displayed in the single athlete view.
If I want/need to see all the workout description or notes, then I'd prefer to have to click on the workout to open it. As it is now, all of the content for the workout description and notes are shown, making each row for an athlete super…

field for comments in metrics
It would be great if there was a "comments" box in the metrics section. Right now I'm adding comments to the workout, but it doesn't always apply to a "post-workout comment" and would be beneficial and make sense to add these kind of notes where sleep, etc., is noted.
4 votesThere is a “notes” field that can be added to the Metrics Quick View. Look under Settings → Layouts → Quick Views → Metrics. You will see “Note” in the list of available options.

Separate Running power ftp
With the release of stryd running users now have access to a power meter for running. However we only have one section for ftp on training peaks and that's for cycling.
For multisport athletes it would be really beneficial to be able to have ftp for running and for cycling so that np/watts per kilo/tss/etc are calculated accurately for each individual sport.
4 votesPower, heart-rate, and pace zones can be individual configured by activity type. From the zone settings, scroll to the bottom of your default power zones settings then choose Run from under “Add Activity”.
This video shows how to navigate to the zone settings:

Allow for selection of pace based run TSS even when power data are available
When running with Power meter system calculates TSS based on Power, if Power treshold is not set it will calculate based on HR.
It would be good if either pace would be prioritized over HR, or if there would be possibility to calculate which base to be used for TSS.
Additionally for session with power metric on the run NGP should be also visible.4 votesYou can now toggle how you’d prefer to calc your TSS on your workouts.
