Add lap button as duration in workout builder
Add lap button as duration in workout builder - when not on a trainer I usually adjust the length of the warm up to match the terrain and traffic conditions. It would be useful to be able to set a section of workout in the workout builder as ending on lap button like you can on Garmin's workout creator

the ironic part is that structured workouts, at least for me, seem to get an added step at the end which REQUIREs the lap button be pressed to end the structured workout. When I created the structured workout I didn't add such a step - but at least on my 920xt, the .fit file seems to include it as a final step in the structured workout. I can't tell if this is a bug or a feature.

An additional observation for this feature:
I want to start a VO2 Max interval at various climbs that are different time/distance from my start. The same workout could have a "flex" warm-up to reach that climb. The intervals start when the lap button is pressed. This example allows the same workout template to adapt to different routes by allowing a single block to be ended by the user.
Another scenario would allow a workout to adapt the training to an individual's specific effort / recovery rather than a static number of repeats. For this example, suppose the workout includes a repeat VO2 Max - Recovery intervals. I might want to continue the repeats until "exhaustion". That effort might mean that I only held 90% of my target. As an advanced trigger is not available, the lap button allows me to decide I am exhausted. The lap button provides the ability to trigger the end of a repeated block in this example.

In the constructor of training only there are two options for the completion of each interval, by time and distance. I would also like the option to change interval when pressing the "lap" button on the gps. In this way it would be much more comfortable to adapt the training to the terrain.

Please make sure it supports 'lap button' press behavior, that's how those of us who do structured workouts in unstructured places survive.
