strength monitoring
In my view, TrainingPeaks could become one of the most comprehensive platforms if options for monitoring and quantifying strength training load were added. In particular, I am thinking about the following features:
• The ability for coaches to record RIR or RPE for strength exercises
• The addition of tools to track strength training volume, such as total tonnage, number of repetitions, or combined metrics (tonnage × repetitions)
• The integration of options that support velocity-based training
These enhancements would, in my opinion, make the application highly attractive within the broad training-platform market by providing a more complete and accurate view of athletes’ overall training load.

So glad to get a notification today that this moved to "Planned" because it's one of the most important metrics for strength training. I need to know total tonnage and doing manual calculations of what they do now is time-consuming. I give my clients an RIR/RPE chart and write in description notes, but to have a field for this would be wicked awesome. I'm so with Thomas on all that he said. Great to see it moving forward. 🙏
