Export 0watt blocks as FreeRide segments to Zwift
Using free-ride segments in Zwift is often used for short max efforts. Now its not possible to export certain blocks as a free-ride segment i.s.o. a steady-state segment. This means you still need to edit the workout in Zwift.
A solution would be that a block set to 0 watt would be exported to a free-ride segment for a Zwift workout.
25 votesRPE based workouts can now be exported to Zwift. These workouts use Free Ride blocks along with text messages to communicate the target RPE. During a free ride block the trainer will be in ERG mode and respond to changes in the simulator. This is a good option for building FTP test workouts since the trainer will not be locked in to a specific power target.

Support novel metrics
There are lots of new devices and even more metrics, which are even less consistent across devices.
Rather than killing yourself trying to add new data types allow data to be uploaded with a name, giving the responsibility for naming the metric to the people writing the data file.
In my particular case I have a runscribe and would like to combine their data with the data Suuonto Movescount automatically uploads, but I can see how there are probably not enough people with the same device for you to do so. Although if you added up all the users of…

Offline work in coaching edition and sync when Internet service returns
I see a real need for the TP Coaching Edition to have the functionality to be used offline when connectivity is not available so you can write programs. When service is established, a synch would occur.
21 votesThanks so much for your feedback. While we agree that off-line planning mode would provide an opportunity for training prep and analysis when connectivity is not available, this would require a major redesign of our platform and thus not something we could tackle in the near-term.

A basic version of TP
It would be great, to have a TP version, that can do more than the free version, but less than the premium.
Why ? : I love the planning features of TP, but don't do that much cardio anymore. So the premium version is to expensive, and the free version don't allow me to use the planning features.
And since i really want to continue to support TP, a basic version, with planning, and some details on workouts, would be great.1 vote -

Pre-Activity Comments
I understand the intent of the pre-activity notes but from a user standpoint it does not make sense to me. Please consider a user accessible pre-activity section to record technique comments aside from the actual workout specifics. As a self coached athlete I would find this area useful to input work out tips and techniques to consider or pre-race focus ideas... Restricted areas within a personal training log don't make sense to me as a user... Please consider this as an RFE..

New Pricing Tier
I really like training peaks, but after years of paying $120 a year for features I wasn't using I decided to stop and switch to Garmin connect. I did this because Garmin connect let me plan out in the future (poorly). I recently switched back because training peaks is more detailed, but I am stuck using the free version I want to pay some features and I feel like the $50-60 is the sweet spot. I am looking for just a few capabilities. 1) planning 2) create workouts. That's really it. Some basic metrics would be a plus.

split work out
Is there a possibility to split (manually) run and bike times in training peaks after a duatlon
4 votesCurrently there is not a way to split a workout and create new workouts for each part, but there is a work around for what you are trying to accomplish. Upload the file twice, to two different workouts, and then edit each workout to only be the bike or run segment. This support page should help.

References for Articles
References - I read the neat article on 4 New Mobile Features You Should Know About. It would be really helpful to have a list of suggested references to topics mentioned in the article on a sidebar. For example, in this article, I'd like to know more about how 'Form' should vary over an athlete's season, and what a coach/athlete should target for their numbers as they approach their priority race.
1 voteYou can expect a follow up blog post on Form and Ramp rates. We are working towards adding blog content to the mobile apps as well as better help pages. Thanks!

Garmin Connect auto-uploading my swim workout with breaks
While garmin connect is auto-uploading my swim workout from my Forerunner 920XT, it only takes into account swim time without breaks. This makes TSS higher than it would with the braks naturally. Is there an option to change this or set up preference how the workout should be uploaded? I believe, when I uplad the workout file, it takes into account the whole workout with the breaks.
3 votesThis is currently working as designed and there are no immediate plans to change this. To workaround this you can enter the total time (not the moving time) in to the quick view and then delete the sTSS value. A new sTSS will be calculated based on the total time.

Have possibility to track general rest something like restwise.
It would be benefitial, to have ability to track general "rest" or "stress" levels, something like restwise has developped. I have been using restwise, but in the end, I have no time for multiple platforms. With already existing training stress levels, and automatic sleep tracking maybe comming to training peaks, the logical follow up would be to start tracking general rest/load level so you could see how it behaves over time.
3 votesWe currently support logging the Restwise metrics. There is not an automatic sync, but you can record them manually. The mobile apps allow you to overlay metrics on the PMC, which may be insightful. This page has a few more details.
http://help.trainingpeaks.com/hc/en-us/articles/204070184-Restwise-Pulse-OximeterThere are future plans to integrate with HealthKit to make some of the logging automatic.

email notifications
this was marked as resolved but that is not true. I'd like to receive email notifications of
1. my own post workout comments: I like to have a record of the complete conversation with my coach in my email
2. changes to workouts: I put all my workouts into my personal calendar at the beginning of the week, when my coach assigns them. Sometimes he changes them later on, so I would like to get a change notification.3 votes -
trainerroad
Hi,
I would like to see better integration with TrainerRoad.
1) Ability to auto upload activity
2) Ability to import their training plansCheers
5 votesThe developers at Trainer Road plan to add an upload to TrainingPeaks functionality. Although we are not sure when that will happen. It would be good for you to reach out to them and make this request.

TSB Metric
Adding a chart that allows us to view TSB data over time would be beneficial. I know I can see the values on the Performance Manager screen/chart, but I would like to view this data in the same way I can view my Fitness History chart (e.g., tabular and by week/day). This would allow athletes a quick way to see their current TSB to determine if they are headed for chronic fatigue (I know based on experience).
1 voteWe have plans to show today’s PMC values and ramp rates in places other than just the dashboard chart. It may not be exactly what you are asking for, but it should solve the same purpose.

Block athletes from altering their prescribed training.
As a coach, be able to block an athlete from altering their prescribed training. Heaven forbid some of mine have altered theirs, I would like to block them from doing so....
3 votesThe new Beta app now supports “locking” which is a feature of our old app and new. In Beta, athletes will not be able to edit any planned information. In Classic, they can edit the workout information but not change its date. So, we’re kind of halfway in between the ideal solution, which is what you propose. So, we’re getting there.

Equipment
EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION
1) Create a universal equipment type
2) Build groups of universal equipment into "configuration"
3) Allow for designation of configurations and additions/removals of pieces of equipment for an activityExample:
Equipment: road bike frame, training wheels, race wheels
Configuration A: road bike frame, training wheels
Configuration B: road bike frame, race wheelsSolves at least 5 separate equipment-related suggestions.

Give the opportunity to upload csv from a C2 indoor rower and the freeware RowIt.
There is no free opportunity to upload csv from the C2 rowing machine straight to TP.
The freeware RowIt produce csv, it would be great to be able to upload C2 csv files.
I enclose a small csv generated by RowIt.6 votes
