  1. When editing multiple events from the "Check & Edit" menu you should stay inside this menu layer when you have finished editing your event.
    Currently you are placed by in the main Event Organisation screen and have to click "Check & Edit" again to get to your next event to modify.
    This feels a bit clumsy.

  4. Problem: Current UI design uses Dropdown List in many of the advanced setting screen. This type of UI offers a bad UX for people on mobile (ie. small screen with fat fingers) or for devices that uses limited remote control (ie. Apple TV).

    Recommendation: Remove the dropdown list and use Popover to simplify UI for all platform.

    For example when creating an event and selecting a route, instead of a dropdown list with a tiny scroll, have a scrollable popover menu with larger touch area with the first list item (or previous selected) highlighted. Popover menu will have the highest…

  5. In a "club" you might have an organizer creating events. Sometimes you need another rider than the organizer to be the "Ride leader".

    Motivation:

    Some times you need a specific rider or a person not neccesarily participating in the ride (a coach or commissioner) to be able to write "broadcast" messenges in the middle of the screen.

    When we (eCKD) create group rides (or workouts) we need a specific rider to be able to broadcast messages, - a coach to guide the group :-) Often this coach is particpating in the ride but sometimes just want to spectate and instruct.

  6. When a workout has a power zone, for example, from 150 to 170 watts, it would be good if the import occurred based on the average, or if a dialog box opened so that the user could choose the power for that section.

    However, if the workout has a section without a power definition, the system should turn off the ERG mode at that moment, and turn the ERG back on when entering a new section with a power definition. Today, from what I understand, the system refuses to import the entire workout.

  7. Allow for zoom/change of scale of graphs like elevation/distance. Right now, when riding, I'd like to see the ENTIRE course I'm going to ride, and, be able to zoom in on the scale/view of the profile for more detail. I've had instances where the course has ended, and I had no idea it was going to end. Also, there should always be a distance marker on the course in the unit (imperial vs metric) as selected in the default config settings. Things seem to shift from course to course (some show distance in m and others in miles).

    See attached doc it contains 3 images -

    first 2 images are of the workout built in TP and the 3rd image is what came across to TPV

    If you look at image 3 (tpv workout) cadence required in z2 is 65, if you look at image 2 (TP workout) no cadence is required.

    the workout seems to be built right as done before in other platforms. Cadence of 65 is only required in z3 sectors - 10 min section

    Maybe something to look into - happy to supply more details if needed

  10. As more users come onto the platform this will be more important, as there will be more % humans in races and less bots. The in-pen race predictor 1 min prior to the start is great, but clearer differentiation between humans and bots on that list (and also in race) would be great too.

  11. I like to ride with the #3 camera view which is kind of like a POV when riding in a bunch. But to check behind I have to change the camera view and then change back.
    It would be cool to have the option to have second camera view in a small pain. For racing this would be great because being able to be facing forward but also be able to take quick glance back to see if anyone is coming up would be much more realistic than having to change the camera view with it animations and then change…

  13. Unfortunately, it has happened to me several times that I accidentally braked in important racing situations. My fingers were only lightly on the brake, but that was enough to activate it. It would be great if you could adjust the sensitivity of the brakes or at least deactivate them completely.

    You think it is possible also to add estimated used carbs/fat as XERT does (must be a algorithm)- it would be nice to have it at glance while training for fueling strategy.

  15. Love that the TPv seems to take the Warm up and Cooldown blocks from workout builder and ramp from low to high or high to low respectively.

    Can there be a way to add this type of Active interval block that is a ramp up or ramp down from workout builder? This would allow hard start vo2 intervals and even more real-world short anaerobic where power often fades after a peak is hit.

  16. The distance of riders behind, especially the pace rider, is not visible, but hidden behind the effort/elevation chart on the bottom of the screen, once it reaches a certain distance, probably about 10 meters or so.
    It's pretty annoying. Mostly you want to check the distance when you got to the front of the group and make sure you're not too far.

  17. in the main screen, I see that below the live data, there are 3 different numbers for Power, HR, and Cadence. I would love to know what each number is. I know it's something to do with averages, maximums, and minimums, but I cannot find documentation on exactly what they are.

    Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.

    Improving the UI is firmly on our to-do list, and using tool-tips is a great suggestion. In the mean-time, the 2 values shown for cadence and heartrate are the average and maximum, and the 3 values shown for power are the average, normalized and maximum values.

  18. When in a race you can see the groups behind, how many are in it and the time gap. It would be a great addition to see the speed of the group too. I think there is space to add it.

    In a race last night I could see the group behind was slowly closing the time gap but had no idea how much faster they were travelling. With that info it could have helped to encourage the group I was in to match the speed to hold them off. Equally it could also encourage groups behind to ride faster…

  20. If the connection gets lost during the workout the result is an incomplete upload in Training Peaks main app. Nonetheless the whole workout file is recorded on my device as a fit file.
    The solution is to manualy delete the uploaded workout and reupload the file from the datafolder on you system.

    can you please automate this behaviour???
