UI/UX: Minimap to show location of pace bots
When riding with a pace group, it would be very helpful to know where the pace bot is, but making its dot the colour of the pace bot, and on top of the other dots. The particular gains of this idea would be:
(A) when one group overtakes another, making sure you stay in the group you intend to.
(B) when you are hoping to catch a group, especially if it is coming the other way, getting advance warning of its arrival so you position yourself and get up to speed.10 votes -
MECHANICS: Adjust ranking logic to limit impact of frequency
The current ranking logic used for pen placement is not working well, as racers with relatively low physical capabilities can end up in pen 1 for most events by virtue of racing frequently.
This may not be a flaw of the ranking logic per se, and more because bots are easy to beat despite their high rank because they are not such clever racers. Regardless, the problem is there.
One way to resolve this, which also protects against a number of other issues inherent in many Elo based ranking systems, is to anchor a rank to a specific physiological metric.

4 votesMany thanks for the suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
Whilst it's unlikely that we'll do exactly this as there are a number of drawbacks from anchoring, the general point you make about ensuring that the rankings are a useful way of categorising humans against each other (as opposed to it being more of a reflection of humans against bots) is a good one and we'll take a look at how best to do that.

MECHANICS: Individual Choice Of Drafting During Free Ride
I would like to be able to choose whether I can take advantage of drafting another rider during a free ride or a course. I know I can create an ITT event to do this but to be able to toggle this functionality for a simple ride would be useful. Please.

It would be good to have the Wahoo click device that comes with the kickr core to change virtual gears.

WORLD: Avatars - Show effort color in first person pov
In the default 3rd person pov, the current effort is shown in the seatpost light as gray/white/yellow/red/green. However, this is not visible in the first person pov (key 3). It's shown in the list on the right, but it's not comfortable to continuously check it. A better alternative would be show the light in the handlebars at the center of the screen.

OTHER: Support sound from multiple sources on PC (e.g. run Spotify in the background)
As a rider I would like to play music from the source of my choosing on my PC while I use TP Virtual while hearing the TPVirtual sounds at the same time.

Can the control to stop / end ride be made easier to locate. Using iPad Pro it wasn’t obvious and ended up closing whole app to finish.

EVENTS: “Smart” Neutralized Start
Instead of defining a fixed power sweep for the neutralized starts, it would be great to have something that took the average of the riders FTPs in the pen and then swept the neutral start power as a percentage of the average FTP of the group.
That would enable each pen to have an appropriate power level neutral start (pen 1 needs is much different than pen 4 needs).
The neutral start power options could be something like “Easy” “Moderate” “Hard” to allow the race creator some flexibility in terms of the percentage ranged of the average FTP? And/or allow…

HUB: HUD on second screen
It would be great if you could show the HUD and workout information just on a second screen (laptop in my case) just like a big bikecomputer and have the main (big) screen to just show the road ahead (or optionaly show HUD info on both)

EVENTS: Trainer Difficulty Minimum for Event Organizers
Currently there is an option for organizers to set trainer difficulty to maximum for all riders. However, there are some very steep slopes in TPV and not everyone has the gear range for those hills. But it still might be nice to enforce a minimum of 50% trainer difficulty so that all riders would feel the wind, braking, and slope and have to change gears accordingly.

HUB: Improved training screen in no-route mode
In this training mode, which I find very useful, I would like the information to be much more visible and to occupy the entire screen, for example the work targets that are placed on the right side at the top I would like them to be much larger and placed under the work screen.. in my tablet the central part where it is usually occupied by the map in the virtual race mode, in this mode is black and not used so I would like the information to be better distributed... thanks

UI/UX: Change Color of CP curve
I totally understand that TP color scheme is this blue color throughout the game, but is it possible to change the color of some of the things in-game to make them easier to read?
For example, this CP Curve is very hard to see with dark blue over gray

FITFILES: Dropbox Integration (upload *.FIT files automatically)
While the Garmin Connect issue is resolved it would help if VTP can upload to Dropbox the fit files automatically so we can use RunGap easier.

EVENTS: Group Workouts - Search Workout
As far as I can tell, when creating a group workout for a group to ride together, you can only scroll through the workout options. It would be very beneficial, especially as the workout libraries grow, to be able search a name to find a workout.

WORKOUTS: Adding duration for TextEvents in workout files
I create my own custom .zwo workout files, as I prefer freeride mode over ERG. In order to know the power/cadence/HR target for each freeride interval, and what is coming up in the next interval, I use TextEvents that stay on screen during the entire interval. When importing a zwo. file into TPv these TextEvents disappear from the screen after a few seconds (while in Zwift they stay the predetermined duration).
Is there any command/tag in TPv to keep TextEvents on screen for a specific duration? An example of a custom interval (in xml format), with a TextEvent lasting on…

UI/UX: Power profile at bottom of screen
Please can the length of time that the power profile shows be adjustable. It currently shows the last 10 mins. I’d like to be able to change that so I can see either a smaller section (5mins) or longer duration (20 mins)

UI/UX: disable undesired cameras, camera auto mode and camera shuffle mode
I would love to see the option to disable camera perspectives that I do not like.
On long rides I would also like to have the option to have automatic camera perspective changes as well as random perspective changes.I hope the screenshot makes it crystal clear.
Thank you for considering!
