UI/UX: Blind Athletes
Will TP Virtual be updated for Blind Athletes to use? At the moment they use Trainer Road

MECHANICS: Free ride - ERG cruise control
During a free ride, it should be possible to turn on ERG and lock it to your current power, and then you can shift the ERG value up/down 5w with another key. Functioning much like cruise control on a car.
This has many practical benefits - it means you can execute a flexible erg workout whilst free riding, for example ERG on the flat and then turn it off for a climb, and then back on. It would also allow you to maintain a certain power whilst you are distracted with something else.

UI/UX: Ability to change data screen font size and colour
It would be nice to be able to adjust fonts for data screens. As someone who needs reading glasses when I run TPV on a TV using ATV device, the fonts and font colours used makes for some of the graphics to be unreadable, the ability to change it or have a back ground to read against would be nice so that smaller wording can be read

EVENTS: Import GPX routes of races you want to compeet
I'm a triathlete and I travel alot abrought to compeet in T100 or 70.3 races. It would be nice to import the gpx-files of these races into TP Virtual and ride the course with all elevations. Something like a combination of Best Bike Split and TP Virtual.
I don't care if the TP Virtual landscape would not match the elevation of the gpx-track.77 votes -
MECHANICS: Training Peaks Virtual does not switch from OFFLINE MODE to ONLINE MODE
If the connection with the server is briefly lost, Training Peaks Virtual attempts to Reconnect. If this fails, the session switches to OFFLINE MODE.
After this, even with normal operation of the Internet connection (tested more than once), the client does not return to ONLINE MODE, remaining in OFFLINE MODE until the end of workout.47 votes -
EVENTS: Creating custom routes with landscape resembling the real world
The magic road in RGT was a good concept to be able to create custom routes based on existing GPX files (minus the manual smoothing of gradients and turns). However, the randomly generated landscape and roads (with no intersections) made it almost non recognizable even for riders that had ridden on the actual route. If with the help of AI, data from Google Maps (for road names), satellite images and street view, the surrounding landscape and intersections, etc. could be generated to be close enough so users could recognize in which part of the route they are at or enjoy…

UI/UX: Workout Builder within the app
Be able to create custom workouts within the app rather than having to upload workout files from another builder platform.

EVENTS: Add staggered start capability for Team Time Trial and Chase Race style events
As the TPV TTT League participation grows we have more suggested feature enhancements that will increase appeal with the added benefit that they are closely akin to another popular event type: Chase Racing making for potentially broader, high impact enhancements for the community.
The most requested enhancements for TTT are:
- Visibility of other teams as we race in a TTT (ghost form or normally appearing avatars)
- Preferably no draft between teams as one passes another but optional inclusion of inter-team drafting
- Staggered start times between teams based on team ARR or perhaps organizer chosen gap times

EXTERNAL: Apple Health integration
Currently TP "reads" from apple health. Could you please add a "write" function? My current UX is I start my scheduled workout on TPV, then I start an indoor cycle session on my apple watch. (I want my workout data to be sent to apple fitness so my monthly kms and time gets added up, among other things). Anyway, these two sessions get sent to TP and I have to delete the apple one so two don't show up on TP.
I think the simple fix is have TPV "write" to apple health.

UI/UX: "climb pro" like feature
The profile of the course is shown on the bottom, but its hard to evaluate the difficulty of the next slope and the actual length. It would be great if some pop-up information would appear 30 seconds before the start of the climb indicating mean slope % and length of the climb.

WORKOUTS: Expanding the workouts library
Please can you add more workouts and ones with more variety to the library. There are too few workouts in the App when compared to other platforms. Please can you add more or let coaches submit their ideas

EVENTS: Custom event pacebot
What if you could customise a pace bot... no rubber band but any other bots added to the event stick with the pacer.
Options for the bot:
- progression - ramps up over the duration of the event
- Workout - follows a workout from your collection (this is the gamified workout ticked off)
- Climber - hit climbs hard and recovery on descents / flat
- Sprints - ride easy with intermittent sprints
- Fartlek - random intervals of varying length and intensity
Sure other people can add some more ideas. Weight and FTP of the bot should also be customisable to match your…

FITFILES: Stop Virtual from auto-saving to TP account.
After a ride Virtual asks me if I want to discard the ride (I assume to stop it syncing to my TP account) but it ignores me and auto-saves to TP anyway. Then when a sync my watch to Garmin Connect (which is linked to TP) I have two workouts in my account for the one ride. It's easy enough to delete one but my TP account is also linked to WKO as well. The discard my ride button is ignoring me.

UI/UX: w/kg
I understand that you don't want to show w/kg for the riders around you and I understand your reasoning. However, on my bike computer in real life I have my power data set to display as w/kg NOT a power number. It would be nice to have this as an option in the HUD display of my data that others can't see. I think others have also moved away from viewing a power number and instead use w/kg. Again it would be nice to have this as a power option in the displays that are private to the user.
33 votesMany thanks for this more nuanced suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
We've deliberately not declined this one and will add it to the list of suggestions to consider in more detail. Whilst the general position remains that we deliberately choose not to publish this metric, it potentially could be displayed for yourself only (and be blank when viewing other riders) as an option in the custom UI.

UI/UX: Bot Identification
You recently declined a persons suggestion (on/off toggle to identity bots)
This after event scenario does zero to help during a group ride, event, etc. to be able to chat with other riders, ask questions, etc. We need to know Bots from real humans DURING the activity.
Today's group ride, several riders seemed frustrated to who was a real human and who wasn't. This was a group ride, not a race, so being able to 'talk' is something leisurely riders like to do.
It is hard to ask a rider to come back to the group or help them to…26 votes -

EVENTS: Meet Up's / Custom Workouts
Is there a way to do a group meet up where everyone stays together but is able to do their own workouts set out on training peaks. We have a lot of athletes on different plans so would be ideal.

UI/UX: Exit button in the Hub
I tried TPV for the first time after looking around it a bit. Seems the Hub is the central point for things to happen. You enter your activity from there and then end up back there afterwards. Big problem for me was I couldn't find where to quit the thing. There is no obvious easy to see button to Exit!!! First few times I ended up force quitting because I couldn't find how to get out. Eventually I found the save and exit button hidden at the end of all the other stuff in Options!!! This is so difficult to…
