UI/UX: Ability to change data screen font size and colour
It would be nice to be able to adjust fonts for data screens. As someone who needs reading glasses when I run TPV on a TV using ATV device, the fonts and font colours used makes for some of the graphics to be unreadable, the ability to change it or have a back ground to read against would be nice so that smaller wording can be read

EVENTS: Custom Bot Difficulty
It would be nice to be able to set a the difficulty of bots in a custom event rather than having them scaled to you. Sometimes, you still want to race but just don’t have the energy levels for an all out effort. It would be nice to be able to turn down the bot difficulty, rather than just getting dropped by the lead bots.

EVENTS: Head to Head race metrics
HEAD TO HEAD Race Metrics:
As rider numbers increase on TPv and improves the racing environment, i'd love to see Head to Head win/loss stats, for example when you click into someone's profile (eg like you see on chess.com). I think this helps you gauge your abilities vs the competition and supplements ARR info.

EVENTS: Create custom routes on main island
As above, I’d like the ability to create/plan custom routes based on the existing roads on the island (ie not GPXlorer).
For example, I could do 2 laps of Laguna Seeker followed by 10 laps of crit course, followed by a finish on the velodrome.
Within this, the ability to add/remove custom banners and points locations and finishes17 votes -
UI/UX: "climb pro" like feature
The profile of the course is shown on the bottom, but its hard to evaluate the difficulty of the next slope and the actual length. It would be great if some pop-up information would appear 30 seconds before the start of the climb indicating mean slope % and length of the climb.

MECHANICS: Stream GPS coordinates when riding a GPX route.
Currently the broadcast/streaming mode updates rider detail such as speed and distance via HTTP or a local file. It would open new opportunities for 3rd party applications if the new GPX routes could also supply GPS coordinates for the rider position

MECHANICS: Adaptive Cruise Control
The new Cruise Control feature is fantastic, it locks in a target power beautifully. But… it flattens the virtual terrain completely, and that takes away a big part of the immersive feel.
Suggestion: Add a “Virtual Cruise Control” mode where the set power applies to 0% gradient, and you choose a bias (0–10) to scale power with incline.
For example:
Set power = 200 W, incline = 2%, bias = 2
Resulting power = 200 W + (200 × 0.02 × 2) = 208 WThis way, you keep the benefits of steady pacing and get the natural resistance changes…

EVENTS: Add staggered start capability for Team Time Trial and Chase Race style events
As the TPV TTT League participation grows we have more suggested feature enhancements that will increase appeal with the added benefit that they are closely akin to another popular event type: Chase Racing making for potentially broader, high impact enhancements for the community.
The most requested enhancements for TTT are:
- Visibility of other teams as we race in a TTT (ghost form or normally appearing avatars)
- Preferably no draft between teams as one passes another but optional inclusion of inter-team drafting
- Staggered start times between teams based on team ARR or perhaps organizer chosen gap times

WORLD: Realism Slider (0–10) or Option to Disable Gamified Visuals
TrainingPeaks Virtual originally emphasized realism.
Recent releases increasingly add gamified objects that reduce realism and distract during structured workouts. Please add user control over visual intensity. Goal is to improve focus, reduce distractions, and restore realism for users who prefer a clean training environment.
Proposal 1: Switch “Disable post-v0.4.34 visual additions”
- Removes all decorative/gamified elements introduced after that release.Proposal 2: World Realism Slider

8 – Suspended magnetic railway
7 – Balloons
6 – Glass-concrete buildings over roads
5 – Airship
4 – Animals entering the road…2 votes -
FITFILES: Stop Virtual from auto-saving to TP account.
After a ride Virtual asks me if I want to discard the ride (I assume to stop it syncing to my TP account) but it ignores me and auto-saves to TP anyway. Then when a sync my watch to Garmin Connect (which is linked to TP) I have two workouts in my account for the one ride. It's easy enough to delete one but my TP account is also linked to WKO as well. The discard my ride button is ignoring me.

EXTERNAL: Apple Health integration
Currently TP "reads" from apple health. Could you please add a "write" function? My current UX is I start my scheduled workout on TPV, then I start an indoor cycle session on my apple watch. (I want my workout data to be sent to apple fitness so my monthly kms and time gets added up, among other things). Anyway, these two sessions get sent to TP and I have to delete the apple one so two don't show up on TP.
I think the simple fix is have TPV "write" to apple health.

MECHANICS: Join GPX files together
For quite some time now, I have been toying with the idea of virtually cycling all three climbs of Mont Ventoux in one day.
In principle, completing the route that is necessary in the real world to be accepted into the club Les Cinglés du Mont-Ventoux.
This iconic moutain is very popular without a question, i dare to say.
Climbs of the mountain have be integrated in étapes of the Tour de France more than 15 times.
To date, there are almost 20000 members of the club Les Cinglés du Mont-Ventoux, all having accomplished the above challenge with a certificate.…

FITFILES: @core_temperature Heat Sensor Data missing in exported FIT file
Somewhere in the FIT export from TPV to TP, the @core_temperature data channel is lost. It's visible in TP Analyze 360 data but not in the actual saved FIT file stored on TP, nor is it accessible via WKO5 sync.
The other core temperature channels, HSI and skin_temperature are saved to the FIT file.
Edit: I've also opened a support case for this issue.

UI/UX: w/kg
I understand that you don't want to show w/kg for the riders around you and I understand your reasoning. However, on my bike computer in real life I have my power data set to display as w/kg NOT a power number. It would be nice to have this as an option in the HUD display of my data that others can't see. I think others have also moved away from viewing a power number and instead use w/kg. Again it would be nice to have this as a power option in the displays that are private to the user.
50 votesMany thanks for this more nuanced suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
We've deliberately not declined this one and will add it to the list of suggestions to consider in more detail. Whilst the general position remains that we deliberately choose not to publish this metric, it potentially could be displayed for yourself only (and be blank when viewing other riders) as an option in the custom UI.

MECHANICS: Always show pacer in nearby riders when using pacer bot
I sometimes loose track of the pacer bot when there is a large group of riders around me. I can't see him/her in the nearby riders list and I'm not sure if I've got ahead of him/her or have dropped behind. it would be terrific if the pacer bot was always shown in the nearby riders list regardless of how many rider away he/she is. many thanks. OTHER: iOS battery drains while sleeping
I've found that when I forget to force close this app after a ride, my iPad will completely drain of battery in a few hours even while asleep. I could understand if the device was open and the app was running, but it happens when the device is totally at rest.
It's kind of weird to me, because I've seen that if I ever have to minimize the app and use another one (like looking something up in a web browser), TPV will almost always totally close out and end my ride.
