  1. During a free ride, it should be possible to turn on ERG and lock it to your current power, and then you can shift the ERG value up/down 5w with another key. Functioning much like cruise control on a car.

    This has many practical benefits - it means you can execute a flexible erg workout whilst free riding, for example ERG on the flat and then turn it off for a climb, and then back on. It would also allow you to maintain a certain power whilst you are distracted with something else.

  2. Create a web site with all route maps - their detailed description and profile.
    Ideally, it should be interactive - similar to https://zwiftmap.com/ or at least as informative as route descriptions on Zwift Insider.
    Why - not everybody races, some people just workout or do social rides and it would very beneficial to be able to check routes before riding and navigate around without predefined routes as well.

  6. I'm a triathlete and I travel alot abrought to compeet in T100 or 70.3 races. It would be nice to import the gpx-files of these races into TP Virtual and ride the course with all elevations. Something like a combination of Best Bike Split and TP Virtual.
    I don't care if the TP Virtual landscape would not match the elevation of the gpx-track.

  7. My workouts in TrainingPeaks set a power range for long intervals (eg: 125-165w for 60mins). When they appear in TP Virtual, the ranges are changed to slopes (eg: start at 125w then gradually increase to 165w over 60mins).
    I'd much rather ride these intervals at a fixed power using ERG mode rather than have it gradually increase or decrease.
    Other platforms deal with this by using the middle value of the range as the set power for the entire duration instead of using a slope.

  8. Many people have poor virtual power data particularly after the summer of riding outside. Using the real life data for the critical power and performance verification in TP Virtual would give better information. Whilst there is often some difference in the power from outside to virtual data this would be discernible within the data that TP holds.

  9. TrainingPeaks Virtual bots with their AI are quite remarkable. A completely new way to exploit those bots would be "personal team bots", i.e. the possibility of a human rider to have his own team of bots. Those team bots should work with their human team leader in different ways - not only as the tempo making domestiques, some should maybe sprinters or puncheurs and so on. So in certain cases human rider can actually work for one of his bots too. Also there should be a way to send commands to them or put the bot to a certain training…

  10. Discord voice channels are widely used by indoor cycling teams and it would be very useful to have Integrated Discord Voice Channel support built in TrainingPeaks Virtual. And for example, it could be also used by team managers during the races and also as general voice chat in group and group training rides.

    As we are at it, also Discord text channel support could be very convinient in prepearing events and managing teams.

  11. At the end of an event, participants should enter a coffee shop / clubhouse etc where the results are displayed, there is a podium, you can view the results, and importantly can discuss the race with others that took part - give chapeaus, etc. Avatars could be on turbo trainers so that you can also cool down.

    It's a bit of a damp squib when an event finishes and everyone just rides off.

  13. When creating a custom event for yourself (e.g. a quick race, workout sim, etc) it should be possible to launch it immediately from the configuration page, rather than scheduling it for 10 minutes time and then waiting for it start.

  17. It should be possible to freeform configure the HUD - place datafields or elements wherever you want, change the font, change the size, remove the borders, etc.

    It should also be possible to save presets, so you can have a different configuration for racing, workouts, free rides etc.

  18. The finish line in all virtual racing sims is dull - there is no celebration, no podium, no photo finish or specific finish line camera. All of these things could make finishes much more exciting and viewable.

    Finish line celebration animations could be unlockable.

  20. Using HR to control the power would be great to make it easier to stay within your Zone 2 HR zone on extended Free rides and Workouts.
    I have used this mode in another training platform and found it very useful.
    HR is set by the user and is changeable by 5 beats up and down with each click of the UP/DN arrows, the platform controls the power to keep you within 2 - 3 beats of target. Initially it would need to ramp up slowly to get you to the target zone.
