TPV needs to display target wattage range (vs single number) for workouts
I ride my bike on rollers using a Garmin Edge cycling computer and TPV on my iPad on a stand about 3 feet from my front wheel. I have tested and compared doing planned target wattage oriented workouts using one or the other and both. One thing that the Garmin Edge does that is far superior for displaying target wattage in a workout is it shows you a wattage range (in green) in which you are considered compliant, and outside of which is non-compliant and displayed in red. TPV on the other hand display just the single target wattage number.…

Ability to real-time sync workouts on TPV and Garmin Edge computer
While planned workouts download to both TPV and Garmin Edge computers, they do not sync, so that you have to use one or the other. While you can try to start both at the same time, it isn’t exact, and if you stop or pause, the two get completely out of sync, with different targets at different times. Additionally, because TPV dashboard stats are hard to see on an iPad while riding, I can see them much better on my Garmin head, and additionally my Garmin displays wattage targets as ranges, the cycling computer is by far the better option…

TP SYNC: Improved Workout Sync Error Handling
Display a clear error message if the application cannot reach TrainingPeaks servers to fetch planned workouts (e.g., due to a network issue or IP block). Currently, it fails silently. For greater reliability, workout sync requests could be proxied through the TrainingPeaks Virtual servers

WORKOUTS: Heart Rate target control via keyboard for ERG
For heart rate-based workouts, allow the target heart rate to be adjusted up or down using the keyboard's +/- keys. This provides direct effort control, as virtual gears are non-functional in ERG mode for this workout type.

UI/UX: Resizable HUD/GUI for Enhanced Virtual Immersion
I use a 70" 4K TV as my primary display for virtual riding, which creates an incredibly immersive experience. However, one recurring challenge I’ve noticed—across several apps, not just TPVirtual—is the size and dominance of the HUD/GUI on the screen.
While I absolutely rely on the data during rides and workouts to monitor performance, the current layout makes it difficult to fully enjoy the game’s visuals.
The interface simply takes up too much real estate on a large screen, especially in higher resolutions.
It would be amazing to have the ability to adjust the HUD/GUI size dynamically, perhaps via a…1 vote -
OTHER: Windows App Slow/Glitchy
I downloaded the Windows App(running Win 11), have used this PC with both Rouvy and Zwift with no issues. Initially TPV picked up my smart trainer and paired with it(Elite Suito), but not my Wahoo Tickr. It could find it but status was "no signal" I deleted the app, reinstalled it. Then it picked up my HR strap, but it would not connect to my smart trainer "no signal." I have used both with no issues over bluetooth with other platforms which have now been deleted off the laptop so they are no longer connected to them. Today, the app…

UI/UX: Focus data screen error Apple TV 4k
Launching a workout in focus data mode results in a blinking white TV screen, virtual world works fine.
See images, have deleted and re installed app on Apple TV.

Display structured workout interval title and notes
When building a structured workout in TrainingPeaks there are fields to put in a title and notes for each interval. These should be displayed on screen in TPV at the start of each interval as coaches use these fields to provide additional context over and above just the power level.

UI/UX: Show virtual gear when primary dashboard turned off
The zones display removes (for me) the need for the relatively large primary dashboard, but turning it off seems to turn off the virtual gear display (unlike the cruise mode display).

UI/UX: Server connection status indicator option in UI settings
I have occasional issues with TPv which are likely due to network stability issues. I have no issues with other apps, so I would like to have the ability to show the connection quality to TPv's servers. This could be a cell-phone style 5 bars indicator, or actual metrics that are important to track (latency, throughout, delay, etc.). I would like an option in the UI settings to turn on/off this indicator in the UI.

MECHANICS: Video
Suggestion: use real video as the background rather than animated simulated world video.
It is so much better to ride a workout with real video and real views than with animated views.
I believe that Rouvy has this feature now. Wahoo integrates real videos into their workouts also.
Also please look at Mike Cotty Col Collective http://mikecotty.co.uk/the-col-collective/ for examples of videos that are inspiring. Combining this with sructured workouts is awesome.

UI/UX: More accurate data on “Data only trainings”
I program in TP( Premium)training based only on heart rate and set intervals for time and heart rate and comment incline %- as there is no option to add that, while using planned training with Virtual World it was impossible to put more incline (wahoo climb) and it was adding and removing resistance every 5s, I switched to only data training mode. When using that mode, speed is incorrect (I same time had turned on wahoo app- when had 28.4kph on wahoo, I saw on TPV 4kph. Also there is no information about incline.
Best regards,

EVENTS: Show MY latest checkpoint in TT’s
When not in the front of a TT race, if the leader passes the NEXT checkpoint before I do, then I don’t get to see my current checkpoint timing with respect to nearby teams. Quite unfortunate. I don’t care about the leader, unless I’m near the leader

UI/UX: Improve clarity of landmarks on mini map
On our group rides we use pillars to designate the end of optional sprints. The pillars (white lines) on the mini map are difficult to see. Can they be changed to brighter colors to make them stand out?

Hub: Add shortcuts from action menu
Add some shortcut buttons to the remote tab in the hub, rather than having to fumble around through the on screen menu. Some ideas: end ride, take a break, pause workout

rider location above charts
Rider locations often overlap the power and elevation charts at the bottom so it's hard to see where everyone is behind me until they're right next side or in front. Can you move the display to just above the charts?

PAIRING: Bluetooth room temperature
I want to see my heat acclimation, but indoors is difficult unless I double record my ride on my Garmin (which is annoying at best), but if I could pair a Bluetooth enabled room temperature monitor that would be awesome 👏🏻

HUB: View ranking history - like in game
At the moment, the TPV Hub online does not include the ranking history graphs, like exists in the game. I think it would be great to include that as well as maybe defining the ranking changes within the race history of each race.

HUB: Event links broken
When going on tpvirtualhub.com on "my profile" and then "history", the event links do not load the race results but instead say: "No Signups!" where the leaderboard should be. Looking into this it appears that the links in the history do not store the correct time stamp. E.g. the history menu has the following time stamp in the URL link:
?startTime=1740141180
loading up the correct event from the Results menu shows that the time stamp should have been:
?startTime=1740141300
Could this get fixed, please?1 vote
