For those of us who cannot reach our laptop keyboard while riding, having a companion app on our phone and easily accessible is somewhat critical to being able to use TPV effectively.

A companion app is indispensable for people that ride on the rollers (e.g. Elite Nero) and cannot access their laptop/PC sitting on the bike.

Love the idea of integrating it to the current TP app.

Create an app like Zwift companion app to be able to select an even and chat while on that event or update the training peaks app to have a companion tab.

A Companion App would be great. As a work around i've created a remote control with Unified Remote.

Really need a Companion App. Trying to reach forward to the monitor /laptop stand to message or change something is awkward, plus with sweat dripping hands it really trashes the keyboard.

Changing from ERG to Terrain to Fixed would be much easier from an app than by the ride UI.

To think outside the box a little, rather than companion app, I would rather a mobile-responsive companion website. This could have all of the capabilities of an app, but without the development and testing overhead.

Companion app is ideal for chat when using the platform, as mobile can use talk to text function
It would also make it easier to identify events & register, without the need to log in to the full program
