is there a timescale on the companion app?

On zwift the comp. app gets around the 2 bluetooth devices limit on Apple TV. As an Apple TV user this would be an important function of the comp. app and can it run on iPad as well as iPhone. thanks

Garmin have their own version of this suggestions forum so let's all fill it in. If we all suggested to Garmin directly that they should allow training peaks virtual to automatically upload workouts it may encourage then to do something about it.
here is the link;

hi Douglas. I think this is a garmin thing which I've also experienced. I've suggested it to garmin on their ideas page too. the more people who ask garmin for this the better.

I'd also be keen to see this. on occasions I've been out for a ride and stopped for coffee and have had the garmin autosave the ride before I get going again (I know, the stop was too long). I then have to start a new ride for the 2nd part and would like to be able to merge the two workouts into one in my TP calendar so all of the metrics are in one place.

I've been having the exact same problem. I'm relatively new to strength training and the short videos are a huge help in making sure I'm doing the exercises correctly but having to pan up and down is a bit of a chore, particularly as I can never see the whole of the athlete in one go. please fix it. Many thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
There's no doubt that the documentation can be improved, and we'll make that happen.
In the meantime, Zen mode can be activated from Main Menu > Options > UI Settings and will turn off the display of other riders (and their chat) allowing you to ride in peace and just focus on your own training!

I'm also running a parallel strength workout on my garmin watch to get the TSS for the strength session. I then end up with two 45m workouts in the calendar and I have to go into the entry created by syncing the garmin record and manually set the time to 1m so as to get the TSS logged without impacting on my workout time totals. it still end up with 2 workouts logged, it's messy to look at and irritating to do.

I like this idea but please do not remove the normal ERG mode.

I had suggested elsewhere having a way to make the other riders invisible so that I could just concentrate on the numbers. this is a much better suggestion as it solves the "other riders" problem and gives me something else to watch whilst I train (ps, I'd rather watch 90's girl bands than jimmy from cade media).

yes please. possibly even make it work with a standard bluetooth two button remote like this one which is used to control bike lights, fits onto handlebars and is only £16.
