I find the HR connectivity between Wahoo HR strap and AppleTV only works (on Zwift) when using the companion app to connect. On TPV the connection rarely lasts

An additional feature that would be great is the ability to pair and share training devices through the Companion App - trainer and hr monitor

I would like this just so I wouldn't risk dripping sweat on my computer. yes, I could get a keyboard cover but then the machines runs hot, so running through the phone is much better.

like other competitors, a mobile companion app would be great, as it would enable greater interaction with the platform and users. When riding and using a screen without keyboard (big TV or tablet), accessing app features or messaging other users is really difficult.

Especially to have ability to message from it, as I use ATV you can’t easily message from it as it has no keyboard so companion app would be perfect

having the option of using some prepared messages with the mouse would be cool.

If you are riding through an iPad, lap top or TV, regardless of which it's hard to then use those screens to type messages. Much easier from an app, of from your phone if you could sinc them up

I would like to be able to acknowledge fellow riders in the virtual world.

I am aware of the chat feature in TrainingPeaks Virtual, however, during a ride my keyboard is not accessible.

That said, the chat feature is nice but i am really only interested in being able to say hi to a fellow rider. I consider it a bit rude when pleasantries are not reciprocated in the real world unless they are hard at it going full gas or something.

Being a former Zwift user, i am familiar with it's companion app which provides the ability to give "ride ons". Something like this would be nice but i have no clue, work wise, what i am asking for.... and to be sure i can do without it... i am using workouts loaded into TrainingPeaks by my coach am satisfied with the performance of TPVirtual. Seems to be improving nicely. Thanks.

My current set up is an Ipad connected to a TV via white lightning adaptor. It would be wonderful if I could log in on my phone at the same time. With my current set up it's not easy to make changes like turns or turning off and on ERG mode.

For anyone who doesn't have a laptop up close, a companion app is key and critical. This upgrade would be appreciated, especially for subscribing users!

I really like the TPVirtual App. I am a Zwift user and I'm thinking to switch to TPVirtual but I really miss the Companion app.

To use the keyboard commands when you are training it is not so usefull.
I hope you are working on it.

With the recent release of Hammerhead Extensions, it would be amazing to be able to to control TPVirtual from the Karoo computer (something similar to Zwift's Companion App)

I also would like to use an App like "Zwift Companion App" for TPV instead of using Hotkeys. That would be much easier.

this virtual trainer would be so much easier to use on the bike for people who use a PC or TV, to control the app via a phone app. right now if i want to change directions or use the menu, i have to get off my bike or position it near my PC . I'm positive I'm not the only one who would appreciate this, most people would, I'm sure.

We need a VIRTUAL TRAINER COMPANION APP, controlling the virtual trainer from the bike is necessary, for ease of use and safety

For those of us who cannot reach our laptop keyboard while riding, having a companion app on our phone and easily accessible is somewhat critical to being able to use TPV effectively.

A companion app is indispensable for people that ride on the rollers (e.g. Elite Nero) and cannot access their laptop/PC sitting on the bike.

On zwift the comp. app gets around the 2 bluetooth devices limit on Apple TV. As an Apple TV user this would be an important function of the comp. app and can it run on iPad as well as iPhone. thanks

Love the idea of integrating it to the current TP app.

Create an app like Zwift companion app to be able to select an even and chat while on that event or update the training peaks app to have a companion tab.
