An error occurred while saving the comment Mateusz Nowakowski commentedCurrent workaround (detailed explanation):
Ensure your TPV ride is present in TP.
Open the ride in TP, click Files, and download the .fit.gz file.
This is a compressed .fit file — you need to decompress it to get the .fit file.
Then, import the .fit file on the Garmin Connect siteMateusz Nowakowski supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Mateusz Nowakowski commentedOf something like - provide expected distance and elevation gain - and some automation will provide a proposal of route to achieve that.
Currently it can be achieved by selecting some route and do laps of it - but if engine generate some more varied route - that would be nice. -

Many thanks for your suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
To confirm, the TrainingPeaks Virtual physics engine already takes into account the height and weight of riders, so - to use your example - you will already experience a higher drafting effect when sitting behind a larger rider.
All that is currently missing is the graphical representation of that.

Many thanks for this more nuanced suggestion, and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
We've deliberately not declined this one and will add it to the list of suggestions to consider in more detail. Whilst the general position remains that we deliberately choose not to publish this metric, it potentially could be displayed for yourself only (and be blank when viewing other riders) as an option in the custom UI.

Note that for performance reasons, currently FIT files are not stored locally on Android / iOS devices with less than 3GB memory, or on AppleTV – they are however still created and stored on the server and will be automatically uploaded from there to any 3rd party sites (Strava, TrainingPeaks etc) that you configure a connection to. You can then download the FIT files manually from the 3rd party site.
that's not true...
when there is a crash, there is no self healing, retry ?
it would be nice if sync feature be really HighAvailable feature, retried etc. self cure etc..
That's the reason why I still use Garmin... they have crashes... but I've never lost .fit file.. this is the most important feature.
