enter calories for a workout in mobile app
when using the mobile app, it's possible to enter a workout, but not the # of calories expended. In many cases I want to update my caloric burn to better judge my intake, but cannot with the mobile app at this time :(
1 voteYou should now be able to enter all the same stats on a workout from the mobile site that you can in the non-mobile site’s Quick View Summary tab. Thanks for the great feedback,
Matt Allen
Project ManagerAs an update on this, just wanted to let everyone know we have started work on this feature. Thanks!

Default exercice type when uploading
It would be really nice to be able to set a default exercise type under preferences. Most of my exercises are the same type (Bike) and I have to change from "Other" in all exercises after upload.
1 voteYou should already be able to set your default sport type from within our free downloading tool called Device Agent. You can get Device Agent here: http://support.trainingpeaks.com/device-agent.aspx

Planned TSS dedicated field in the library workouts
I would like to have a dedicated field in the Workout Designer Tool for TSS just as Duration. Then as I plan my athletes workouts I would get a ballpark of total TSS for each week in the Week's Summary area. Thanks.
1 voteAs a followup, just wanted to let everyone know that this feature is complete.
Hi Fabiano,
We have something along these line planned for the next couple months. Stay tuned! Thanks,
Matt Allen

Customization of Post-Workout Notifications
Since a HTML5 version of your online software won't be available soon, you could add an option to customize what info one gets in the "Post-Workout Notifications", similar to the Quick View customization.
1 voteAs an update on this, I am marking this feature request as completed since we now include a link to the HTML5 Activity Viewer within the Post Workout Notification email. Thanks!
Fabiano, who says we won’t have an HTML5 goody available in the near future? ;)
Thanks for the suggestion, we will take this into consideration.

Power curve comparison: current ride vs. PB envelope
For each ride superimpose on the mean maximal power curve, the portion of your overall mean maximal power curve of all your rides, relating to the same time period as the current ride. Us a different colour and dotted lines for the comparative graph. This will immediately allow one to visually rate how close to your envelope the current ride has been over any time period.
1 voteGreat news, we actually already have this! On the Peak Power Chart, click the gear icon to access the chart settings. From there, you can turn on comparisons. For more information, please see: http://support.trainingpeaks.com/personal-edition/charts/peak-power-charts.aspx
Thanks for taking the time to share with us your ideas!

Future request :) For new app for IPAD, can you design a way to check/access Pacing/HR zones? Severing perverbial Laptop umbilical cord.

Total Training Zone Customization
I would like to manually adjust the number of heart rate and/or power training zones and the specific percentages. For instance I would like to use a 3 HR zones instead of 5. As a coach using your software I find it odd that TrainingPeaks limits users to only the methods available on TrainingPeaks. I like the software but I don't want to be limited to another coaches or companies training philosophies.

share training peaks with individuals, not "Public"
Would it be possible to share (view only) my TP data with a training buddy, (not my coach)?
1 voteGood request we’ve heard before.. having a “read only” view of training. We do have a public view, which is really just an “unlisted” way to look at someone’s training. That is, it is not found in a search engine or discoverable by other users. You can find it in the classic mode: Settings, Social&Sharing, Public Profile.

Option to just drag...
For building plans, my biggest pet peeve is having to close the workout box. I've created all the workouts I need and just want to drag the workout to the right day, drag the next workout to the next day, and so on. the way it is now, the workout automatically opens when you put it on a day (i'm sure the intention is so that you can alter it). I never alter them, and would LOVE an option to drag a workout to a day WITHOUT the workout details opening
1 voteCheck out the Beta App, it works exactly as you described.

Can I have my BMR taken into account as was the case in the standard training peaks
I could track my calorie balance visually on a daily basis. Can't seem to be able to this on Beta
1 voteYou can now set your daily calorie goal in the beta app and see that reflected in the dashboard charts.

notes option for calendar
please add a notes option for calendar that is NOT counted as a workout. I've used "race" and "other" which only works intermittently and inconsistently which is itself frustrating.

Team Canada over here!
Where do we change our measurements to kilometers?
1 voteIt is under setting Account→Settings, which you can get to from the menu under your name in the upper right. This value should be brought over from the Classic app. It is a global setting right now, but we plan to make it more fine grained the future.

In the beta version, if I select an interval, the statistics for the entire workout remain displayed. It's maddening.
Make it more intuitive on how to change that setting/box in maps/graphs.
1 voteThe checkboxes are there to allow multiple intervals to be highlighted on the graph at once. You need to click on the interval name to see the stats for a single interval.
