  1. Let's make Shoe Type optional on swim workouts, so that it isn't displayed be default.

I get that SwimRun is a thing (most people probably do not), but I'd be shocked if more than 1% of swim workouts are people swimming in their shoes.

Also, any Swim/Run event will likely have a run segment, and what I care about are road miles on the shoes, not how often they got wet. You do not include the yardage / meters of a swim on the shoes distance, do you?

I see that Pool Type was recently added, so it seems like…

  2. Is it possible to have a weekly metric on the calendar view for athletes and coached to see planned vs actual for the 80/20 rule, or derivatives of this? We know that we don't follow 80/20 all year round, this time of year in the northern hemisphere might be 90% aerobic / 10% anaerobic with some short bursts

  3. Is it possible to have a feature added whereby we can label client sessions as Key or optional? There used to be the ability to add a session as being a Breakthrough session or BT

  4. Can you allow us to set bike ride durations greater than 99hrs? (common for Audax riders), need 3 digits hrs - currently you can type 120hrs but it reverts to 99hrs.

  5. Allow easier downgrade - do no remove the 'downgrade' button / link from left menu . Have it in same place as the 2 'Upgrade' links/buttons for a basic athlete

2 images attached to show the discrepancy

Do not require coaches to hunt around for the downgrade button in one of the payments / settings sections of TP.

It seems unfair or disingenuous to have 2 separate left menu upgrade links but not one downgrade on left menu . This was something that previously did exist.

Why not have the convenience of that link in the workflow when disconnecting or…

  6. I don’t understand why a professional platform like TrainingPeaks does not integrate Suunto health data (SUUNTO 247 DATA API) such as sleep, HRV, RHR, etc., when these data are available through Suunto APIs and already integrated into free coaching platforms.

TrainingPeaks should not be a platform that promotes the sale of Garmin devices, but should be neutral and allow us coaches to work at our best.

    Thank you.

  7. I would love to see a "notes" field in the zone history. Sometimes I change a zone setting due to altitude differences, medications, illness/injury, or some other non-training-related reason. This would be helpful to archive in the history archive.

  8. I would love to be able to see if a comment is left on a Note -- just as I can see if a comment is left on a workout.

These is a bubble and x1, x2 at the bottom of a workout when comments left, it would be a great feature to have this on Notes as well. I leave all reviews of workouts in one Note it would be great to be able to see at a glance if the athlete relies a comment.

  9. You have "save" and "save and close" but it would be nice to have one more that would be a "save and go to summary" button. This perhaps might make the flow of saving a training session and then going to the summary and then allowing you to click the right arrow to immediately go to the next training session. Vs having to click, "save" then go up to click "summary", and then finally clicking the right arrow (or left if needed to go back one session) to move to the next training session that has been created.

    Reason why…

  10. The Android app looks very outdated.
There is no Dark mode. Navigation is not very user friendly. You should incorporate M3 Expressive design guidelines.

  11. It would be good to be able to create a CSV spreadsheet of your plans for sale on TP.
Just a simple spreadsheet detailing category, subcategory, full plan title, weeks and price.
This will help coaches manage their cua hung business.
    Thanks

  13. Currently, cycling training zones in TrainingPeaks are based solely on a percentage of FTP. While this works reasonably well for higher intensities, it is limiting for low-intensity training. I would like to propose the option to define training zones using two separate physiological anchor points:

LT2 / VT2 / FTP – for determining higher zones (e.g., Coggan Zones 3–6), where the current percentage model already works well.

LT1 / VT1 – for determining lower zones (especially Zone 2), where percentages relative to FTP often fail to reflect individual metabolic profiles.

For example, instead of defining Zone 2 as 56–76% of…

  14. Sweat Rate Tracking - would be brilliant to input weight pre and post session, with automatic sweat rate tracking. Tagging the rates to activity types and able to plot against intensities and temperatures for analysis.

Takes this analytic away from our spreadsheets and into a sole training platform!

  15. This would be fantastic for building useful charts in WKO for dedicated athletes. Being able to populate metrics like RMSSD, SDNN, HF, and LW, in addition to the existing HRV channel and heart rate, would be a true game-changer for monitoring athlete fatigue using TrainingPeaks-WKO.

  16. Gym strength workouts are underpowered compared to other gym apps
    - ability to modify a workout during execution eg to substitute one set for another
    - populate weight and rep count with last achieved
    - recommend new weight and rep count based upon analysis of history
    - show me strength by muscle group and how this is changing
    - show me equivalent 10 rep capability for each set

  18. I’m a skating coach and use TrainingPeaks to analyze and create training plans. In speed skating, we don’t have power meters to measure training load alongside heart rate data. However, we do have lap times measured with a transponder, and these lap times provide a good indication of training intensity, similar to how a power meter works in cycling.

I was wondering if it’s possible to use lap times as custom zones in TrainingPeaks, so that I can analyze what percentage of a training session was completed in each lap time zone, similar to speed zones in running or power…

  19. Need a workaround that would allow you to automatically convert all of your structured sessions and apply your custom zone mappings at scale.

While you can change the target type (pace, HR, power) for individual steps within a workout this action does not intelligently translate the intensity based on a coach's specific zone settings. For example pace does not equat to power zone etc.

  20. It would be nice to have a more advanced way of tracking gear, not the very simplistic bikes and shoes section
For example, I would like to be able to add different components (chains, cassetes, tyres, forks, shocks, etc) and keep track of their wear
Also, very important (Garmin also doesnt offer this) - the option to see total time for a specific component (very useful for service intervals for forks and shocks, also useful for users who wax their chains - i personally keep track of riding time for a waxed chain, so i know when it is time…
