  1. It'd be great to allow athletes to compete against each other. The dimensions should be time, power, distance, etc.

Also it should be possible to aggregate caloric expenditure per KG of weight per various periods.

  3. I would like the equipment used for a workout to be included in the workout summary for the data export, while as far as I have been able to determine it currently is not included in this CSV file. As I have 2 bikes that I use I would appreciate having this information in this download. I can imagine I am not the only one who has more than 1 bike / equipment that is used for workouts.

  4. It would be amazing to be able to estimate the caloric need of a given planned workout by giving an estimated power, or estimated KJ/work to then estimate the athletes caloric need for that given session.

  6. Hi there, I would like to be able to add customized metrics so I can integrate views on the data I need from both questionnaires as well as training data.

Use case for me would be: I want to integrate the Short Recovery and Stress State (SRSS) questionnaire in my routine so I can keep track of it in combination with the hard data. The current fields are not sufficient for this so it would be great if I can manually add them somehow,

I am convinced more coaches and athletes will want to have their metrics and charts combined.…

  8. Currently on TP is only possible to design workout based on:
    - Power
    - Speed
    - Cadence
    - HR

I would like to construct workout for the indoor training based on the simulated slope% or indoor-trainer simulated resistance.

The Garmin it self can already send such command to the trainer, but only via manual setting, this is not very comfortable during a session.
Honeslty I don't understand the limitation behind it, since for example TACX does it.

    Thanks

  9. Please can the conversion between power and heart rate in structured workouts be improved.

At present the conversion is very simplistic, for example 50% FTP = 50%LTHR. Clearly that's completely wrong; for me a 50% FTP at 190W would give a 50% LTHR of 85bpm!!!!

It's very time consuming to convert workouts manually whilst referring to a table / Excel sheet or similar. This could be achieved very easily within TrainingPeaks.

  13. It would be great to have about 10 metrics that could be assigned numerical values at the athlete level, that could be pulled and used in the building charts and reports. For example, I like to use resting HR values in some of my HR charts as a reference point (sort of like HR reserve concept). I can either modified each chart to have a specific athlete's RHR, or currently I use the ski workout and the MHR value for this... which work okay, but I'd rather have definable variables for each athlete. Likewise a generic variable could be crank…

  15. I would find the existing Menstrual Cycle data fields in the Metrics section much more useful if they could be overlaid with training data - volume is the one that springs to mind by TSS could be useful too. First I'd like a back-end query to calculate cycle duration from the intervals between day 1 of each cycle, so I could see cycle length plotted on a secondary y axis like so (see attached).

  17. Adding a field in metric for nap specifically in addition to the total (night) sleep time. I rarely get 8 hours of nightly sleep but always have an hour to 2 of nap time in the late am/early pm and the field would be beneficial to track in the metrics with total sleep time

  18. It would be great to add watt per kilo to the dashboard tiles, to toggle between watt only and watt/kilo for each power peak performance marker.

  19. The workout builder and it's ability to control a smart trainer is great in all respects except max efforts, would it be possible to build in the functionality to switch between ERG and resistance mode when building a workout?
I use the IQ app to export to my garmin 520 and can manually switch to resistance mode on the computer. The problem is that when the workout starts another interval it overrides this and goes back to ERG mode and suddenly dumps me at the mid point of the range ie 800w.

  20. I heard in Q1 of 2018 it would just take a pilot group of QA to validate it works on the Garmin Vivoactive 3. So it sounded like it was close to being supported. Let's do it!

Unfortunately the Vivoactive 3 does not support the features of the Connect IQ platform that our app requires. The Vivoactive 3 does not allow for downloading .FIT Workout files through a Connect IQ app, so our CIQ app is not supported.
