ATL/CTL ratio
I'd like to plot the ATL/CTL ratio on the PMC.

We are looking at easier ways to enter daily metrics. We will probably start by integrating with 3rd party platforms like HealthKit or Google Fit and then vendor specific APIs from Jawbone, FitBit, or similar. We may also provide a public API that could be used for uploading metrics as well. We currently have no plans to support importing from a CSV or xls though.

API updated to allow premium user access to retrieve CTL (Fitness), ATL (Fatigue), and TSB (Form).
I would like to make a custom widget type app that displays this data for me at a glance instead of opening up the application or website.

PDF viewer on iOS and Android apps
Now that attachments can be accessed at the TrainingPeaks mobile app it would be great if, for example, a PDF could be viewed inside the app instead of having to open it in another app only to view it (no edits). Thanks.

I use TrainingPeaks to track my progress doing DVD workouts like P90X3, Insanity Max :30. How about some features for that?
I've used TrainingPeaks for many years. But I don't race bikes or run. I'm 61 years old. I use TrainingPeaks to track my progress on DVD workouts like P90X3 and Insanity Max :30. How about adding some features that fit these types of general cross-training workouts?
5 votesRight now there are no plans to add additional features for tracking these types of workouts. I recommend checking out www.trainheroic.com. They do a pretty good job at just that.

Add views by week rather than last 7 days.
I assess training performance by a cycle of Mon-Sun rather than just the last 7 days. Would prefer to see how I've done since Monday rather than the last 7 days. The high mileages of Sat & Sun block the ability to see performance since Mon. Looks like a number of people are asking for the same default view.
5 votesI think you are referring to the mobile apps? You can change the date range by tapping on the chart’s title, then setting the dashboard date range. This value is only saved for premium users. Here is some more info on the premium features available in our mobile apps:

Support for Variable Length Microcycles (i.e. 10-day) in ATP/VC/and Calendar
Particularly for Master's Athletes (where I see much of our Coaching Business coming from), the assumed 7-day micro-cycle does not allow for enough recovery from the 'suggested workouts in that cycle', and a 14-day micro-cycle is too long.
Managing athletes in anything but a 7-day cycle requires me to have corresponding offline Excel spreadsheets and makes use of the ATP/VC very difficult. Solution is to allow for configurable microcycle lengths - so ATP would clearly show where you are in training (Base 1, 2, etc.) and the VC would provide the same workouts in currently might in 7 day, only…

Bring back Virtual Coach
Virtual Coach was a great tool to use as a guideline for workout types for the given phase of training. This allowed you to choose athletes weaknesses and gave workouts to fit the need.
4 votesVirtual Coach was retired from the classic app on June 3, 2015. At this time a replacement is not in the works.

Create our own default text for Facebook/Twitter sharing
It'd be nice to be able to change the default text with some variable fields like "%speed" or "%pace" and customize what we'd like to see posted.
4 votesThanks for the suggestion, but this is not a feature we will be tackling in the foreseeable future.

Advanced analysis according to microcycle rather than a 7-day week
Whilst there are many athletes that adopt a 7-day microcycle, there are also many that prefer to use 8-10day cycles. At present I manually enter and calculate through excel but this is highly time consuming and as such, I would like to see an more advanced analysis on training peaks that allows for training stress scores, distribution, etc to be customized according to the dates of specific microcycle phases rather than just via the calendar week. This would be hugely beneficial for coaches and athletes wishing to determine whether a loading versus off loading phase was effective.
4 votesWhile I understand the request, I’m not clear how we would identify the start or end of each microcycle. Though interesting, I don’t think we have a large enough audience to warrant consideration for this request at this time. Thanks for the suggestion.

The ability to change between miles and kilometers
It would be nice if miles could be converted automatically to Kilometers

more drop down box options in ATP event type please
it would be really useful to have options for kayaking, adventure racing, swimming races, longer distance mtb by time and distance up to 100 miles, and llonger distance triathlons, up to ironman ie 8 hours +, and double iron distance, running 50 and 100 milers or other ultras, and also multi day stage racing events like the cape epic, transalp, adventure racing and raid pyrennean, plus events longer than 24 hours

Send planned workouts from Garmin to TrainingPeaks
I think it would be great if we could send our planned workouts from GARMIN back to Training Peaks.
I usually build my workouts on TP calendar and export to GARMIN. I have many GARMIN devices and 3 bikes and I do different workouts for each of them. Many times I want to take some planned workouts from GARMIN to TP calendar but this is not possible. I would REALLY appreciate if the programming team would work on it.4 votes -
Allow offline viewing and updating of workouts
Please enable mobile apps to be viewed or log info offline? I often end up in places where there is no internet connection. I want to log my workout and/or review what is in the to do details. If I'm in a no-coverage zone, I have to write it on paper (oh the horror).
It would be great to review and record workouts without having to go find a signal.4 votesAt this time there are no plans to enable an offline mode for our mobile apps. Although, we do understand that there are times when this would be useful.

Billing features separately
I'm on the premium trial and I'm pretty impressed at the PMC chart. I'd like to check back on it from time to time but the 15 day trial is a tad short to get much from it, since the changes are fairly long term.
I wouldn't get enough from premium since I'm already using other tools to do some of the things that TP does and at the moment it's out of my budget.
Would it be possible to have a billing system that charges for features separately? e.g. I want to look at a PMC graph once or…

Only see active athletes
Bring back the "holding bin" for inactive athletes. This will allow us to remain connected but to just have active athletes on our 'people' list.
3 votesThis is one of the reasons we created our unlimited coaching option (we call it UBC – unlimited basic clients) so you could have as many people you want for no incremental fees. Note that the UBC feature is a flat $49/month.
