Workout builder - include cadence options
Much like you can build from % ftp it would be nice if we could create workouts based on athlete's average/self selected cadence. Probably best to use a +/- on that. So I can say avg cadence + 10 or -10, etc. The workout would make its calculations by athlete when assigned.

The workout builder has been updated with three new features:
1. Workout steps can be set to have an open duration. For most devices pressing the lap button will take you to the next step of the workout. This is currently available for Garmin devices. We expect other device manufacturers to implement this feature shortly. A suggested duration is still required for these steps so the planned duration and TSS for the workout can be calculated. This value will also be used for devices and file formats that do not support this feature.
2. Target values for the step (power, pace, heart-rate) can now be set to a custom range. This range will be used for Garmin devices. Most indoor cycling platforms require a single value for ERG mode, and the midpoint of the range will be used in that instance.
3. Cadence can now be set as a second target for each step of the workout. Currently cadence is supported for bike workouts in Zwift. We expect other device manufacturers to implement this feature shortly.
Not every device or platform will support all of these features. Here is a short list of partners and which features each one supports at this time.

Hi ,
I would like to do a question no related to this topic but important for all of us, may be that's me who doesn't know it but, instead I´ll do the question.
Do you have any system that inform thru email about new release on TPI and WKO4 are done?
Many thanks -

Love it! 90% of my indoor workouts are based on time and cadence. I would prefer to us TP instead of other tools for building my workouts. Hope this is completed soon. ;-)

Just make sure when cadence is specified in workouts that exports to other programs such as Zwift do include the cadence target data into the files so that it will display on screen during the training session.

A cadence range target per block would be fine for me.
An option to increase the target range from x to y over a set period would be a nice to have. -

Hello,
I would like to know if you are working on add a RPM target plus PWR target when we create a wko.
Right now as you know , we can only create or PE, PWR, FC separate , it would be very interesting to add capabilities on do it in two ranges PWR and RPM targets.
Many thanks in advance
Jose

Is it possible to add the cadance to the workout creator, this is a nice option as in zwift. Also more options for adding text would be ideal.

It would be nice if I could build workouts that appear in Zwift with both cadence and power targets (e.g. .75 of FTP at 94-98 rpm).

Any updates on the ability to build workouts based on cadence? Many track cyclists are waiting... I was considering a premium account but without the ability to build workouts on cadence (and the ability to alternate between power blocks and cadence blocks) TP is not going to work for me.

An ordinary absolute rpm value to be settable per workout block would be totally fine for me.

There are several parameters that would be very helpful added to workout builder: cadence is definitely one. I'd like to see %HRR (Heart Rate Reserve) as well. I'd also like to specify workouts by absolute pace - run x meters in y minutes and seconds, for instance, and have TP calculate the TSS from there.
In addition, it would be helpful to specify some intervals using one parameter and other intervals with another parameter. Yasso 800s, for instance, specify distance for the active interval and duration for the recovery interval.
