Associate and disassociate completed activities with planned workouts
When an activity is completed and uploaded automatically, Training Peaks does a reasonable but imperfect job of lining these up with planned workouts. This does not always work correctly, especially with races, so it would be handy to have and option to associate activities with planned workouts. Conversely it would be useful to be able to separate planned workouts and completed activities so that they can be associated correctly. I think of this akin to reconciliation of receipts to your bank statement. I was thinking along the lines of select an activity and a planned session and then click a 'Merge' button or something similar.

Pairing and Unpairing workouts is now available in the TrainingPeaks web-app! Thank you everyone for you feedback and patience on this feature.

Are there any plans to improve this feature? As mentioned when I have a race or am using zwift, I often do a warm up activity, which is usually way under the assigned time for my workout. With auto upload, that is the first activity that gets uploaded, and I get a big orange workout with no way to remove it. It would be great to be able to manually merge activities, so if I have a 1hr ride assigned to me, but I do a 15 minute warm up, then a 45 minute pace partner ride I can merge them together and the workout will be green.

It's still buggy in the web app. When I have only one workout at the day the unpair option is there but in this case I never need it. But if I have two workouts uploaded in a day, then there is no unpair option, only copy, cut and delete.

When will this feature come to the App?

I don't have the pair/unpair option either. Is there an estimate on when this issue will be fixed?

It doesn't work for me. I don't see that option

Doesn't work for me. I click on it and there is no option to "unpair". I think it's a time zone issue. I am travelling to another time zone and the workout uploads it as if it's in the future so it pairs with tomorrow's workout because in my original time zone it's already tomorrow.
The problem is, because the unpair option doesn't appear for workouts in the future, I can't actually unpair it. -

As far as I know, pairing and unpairing is only available via the Web application and not on specific phone apps

How do I pair and unpair workouts on the iOS app? There is no symbol in the right hand corner to click on?

Using most current version of Chrome, I have the option to unpair for last week's workouts, but not available for this morning's commute. Would like the option to unpair for the day of, please.

Interesting update. Yesterday couldn't get this to work. Switched from Chrome to Firefox and it worked. I thought I found the bug. Today though, same problem. I had no unpair option when my commute auto paired with my workout. I deleted and re uploaded and now that same workout will not pair with a test workout. So very Buggy. Please repair.

This is not working for me too. There is simply no unpair option for me. Argh.

Ditto to Christian Erfurt. Some activities can be unpaired. But most recent ones cannot? Maybe a timezone issue?

Same problem here - the unpair option is not available. My commute automatically pairs with a training. Uploaded via garmin connect. Even downloading the file, deleting it from the training and uploading manually didn't work. It again pairs with the training.
The only options I see are cut, copy and delete.
Workaround: I copy the training and paste it. After that I delete the structured workout of the wrongly paired training and rename it. Then I have my commute and also my training.
Pls fix that

It's still working for me. Just click on the small horizontal line symbol on top-right of the paired activity and 'Unpair' is on the menu

Sorry but this isn't working across the board, there must be some kind of limitation. I have uploaded my bike commute today, and it has associated with this evenings workout, but there is no unpair option.
The activity would have been uploaded via Garmin Connect if that is relevant.

Yes please. My warm ups or travel to an event gets associated with the planned workouts. This should be a one button fix in the interface. Would also like to associate multiple activities with a planned workout as recording can be imperfect.
