Portal to Real Life Route. E.g. last 50km of Milan San Remo
Would love to try out some iconic well known routes. Would be fun to have virtual events and challenges leading up to real event.

More accessible display of other riders metrics (more than just ARR). This will allow you to assess the competition pre races.
As more users come onto the platform this will be more important, as there will be more % humans in races and less bots. The in-pen race predictor 1 min prior to the start is great, but clearer differentiation between humans and bots on that list (and also in race) would be great too.

Gamify it!
Add some dopamine boosting elements:
- some kind of bonuses (not necessarily like Zwift ones)
- achievements
- some bonuses for riding through gates
- live ranking of segments
- checkboxes / stats of completed routes
- ranks / levels
- etc11 votesMany thanks for your suggestion and support for TrainingPeaks Virtual.
In general, some degree of gamification can be good, but we need to be careful not to go too far - for example, we would not want to do anything that encouraged an athlete to train when it would be better for them to be resting etc.
It's therefore an area we will certainly be looking at, but at this stage it's unclear what changes we may or may not make.

API for building custom features
Well the name says it. I'd be interested in an API to develop some features for my club or maybe the public if it adds value.
I think about an embedded version of TPv Hub filtered by organizer so that my clubmembers easily can join club events or check results of past events.
But that's just one idea. Depending on the API's abilities there will be more potential.5 votes -
Complete stylised graphics rewrite
OK, someone had to say it.
The graphics on TPV were always placeholders. When the resource is in place, they should be re-built from the ground up.
My preference would be to go for a stylised low-polygon approach, which allows for scalable graphics across the wide range of hardware options, with flexibility for cool animations and effects - it's also different to the other platforms out there. Whatever is chosen, it should have a consistent style.
I've attached some examples for reference.

Chase bots instead of ERG mode workout
It would be cool if a workout could be performed in a 'chase the bots' kind of way instead of ERG mode. So a few bots are configured to have similar abilities as the rider and perform the workout as planned. The player now has the ability to do the workout in simulation/normal/terrain mode. And instead of having the trainer automatically follow the workout ERG targets, the player has to keep up with the bots to follow the workout. This would make workouts more engaging.

Integrated Discord Voice Channel support
Discord voice channels are widely used by indoor cycling teams and it would be very useful to have Integrated Discord Voice Channel support built in TrainingPeaks Virtual. And for example, it could be also used by team managers during the races and also as general voice chat in group and group training rides.
As we are at it, also Discord text channel support could be very convinient in prepearing events and managing teams.

Current Lap metrics when pressing "L"
Currently we can hit L to make a lap (not a course lap) but other than putting a marker in the fit file its not much use.
I'd like to see lap metrics as data fields for the HUD to go with it like, LAP avg power, LAP NP, Lap avg HR, LAP avg Cadence, Lap time. Like you would on a bike head unit.
Useful for pacing climbs, adhoc intervals etc.

WKO iLevels
Please accommodate WKO iLevels when setting power zones, thank you. Or simply bring over the zones from TP which one can implement iLevels zones in.

Optional HUD elements
I like a relatively uncluttered screen, so tend to minimise the number of HUD elements. It’d be nice to be able to set some to free-ride only. The computer and profile are quite useful in free-ride, but largely meaningless during a workout. It’d be great to have a yes / no / free-ride-only setting. The workout elements are already workout only, which works great.

Bug - using Bontrager Duotrap cadence sensor
I am impressed by how much the terrain/wind feed back into the feel of the training. I like it very much more than Zwift. My power reporting seems much more realistic.
I found two things, though, that I think you may want to look at.
I paired my Bontrager Duotrap 2 with the platform. While it paired and looked like it was going to work, I got zeros for cadence in my reporting. This is very much like when I tried to pair my Duotrap 2 with my Garmin Edge 530 as a Cadence sensor and not as a Speed/Cadence…

Full calendar sync
Full calendar synchronisation between TP and TPV, for 3(?) months in the future. If you sign up for events, they get added to your calendar, future workouts are shown, etc.

TPvirt on Mac - Screen issue
On my Mac (MacBook Pro, 2019, Sequoia) TPvirt seems to have problems with the graphics. Please find attached a clip of this problem and the log file.

Training activity data limited
Carried out a ramp test as a test run and the data given is limited and doesn't show the given FTP anywhere other than briefly after the test was complete. Would be nice to give more activity data to review after activities have taken place

Display 2 options
Currently, on iPad, when you extend your screen to another (larger) screen you can only extend rear or side views.
It would be much better if I could extend the main HUD screen to the larger screen and choose the iPad to show one of the less important screen (eg rear view)8 votes -
Set # of bots on group rides
When creating a group ride, would be great to be able to set the # of bots you want added to humans.
Today, # of bots is determined by max # of riders less the # of humans that sign up. But in most cases don’t know how many humans will sign up for a group ride ahead of time, so can have too many bots.

'Start now' button for private event creation
When creating a custom event for yourself (e.g. a quick race, workout sim, etc) it should be possible to launch it immediately from the configuration page, rather than scheduling it for 10 minutes time and then waiting for it start.

Free ride - ERG cruise control
During a free ride, it should be possible to turn on ERG and lock it to your current power, and then you can shift the ERG value up/down 5w with another key. Functioning much like cruise control on a car.
This has many practical benefits - it means you can execute a flexible erg workout whilst free riding, for example ERG on the flat and then turn it off for a climb, and then back on. It would also allow you to maintain a certain power whilst you are distracted with something else.

Draft lock mechanism
There should be a button to lock draft, so that regardless of how much power you put out, you cannot move past the rider you are drafting (although of course you can drop back if not putting out enough power).
This would allow for proper lead outs and team time trial formations. Currently these are very difficult, if not impossible, to execute.
