  1. On the route profile at the bottom of the screen you can see your position. It would be good to see the position of other groups within an event, or possibly just first and last place. I can imagine these would be smaller markers, maybe thinner and a different colour so as not to confuse, but still to be visible.

  3. Would be really helpful to see during a workout what the rpm target is for a given interval if one has been set. Would appear to be plenty of room. E.g. 200W(90 rpm). This way you can see what is coming up in addition to just the watts and be prepared for it.

  5. It is not practical to use ERG mode for the majority of HIIT workouts. When riding outdoors, I am typically checking the power (and HR, cadence) of the last interval during the recovery interval, so I have ample time to decide if I am still reaching my target values. It would be nice to have a similar feature (last lap data fields) as well as a lap history available.

  6. The finish line in all virtual racing sims is dull - there is no celebration, no podium, no photo finish or specific finish line camera. All of these things could make finishes much more exciting and viewable.

    Finish line celebration animations could be unlockable.

  7. I am a cycling athletic trainer certified by the Italian Cycling Federation. I would like to ask if it would be possible to implement a LIVE Coach function on TrainingPeaks. I would love to create group training sessions, appearing as a coach in a window on the virtual TrainingPeaks platform, where I can explain and ride along with the athletes following me. This feature is also available on MyWoosh, but I believe it could be implemented and improved further.

  9. I think it would be really fun to have a big event to celebrate and kick-off the new TPV platform with a bunch of popular/famous YouTube cyclists (and non-YouTube as well) to draw intrigue and attention to the platform on social media!

    I think it would be fun for those already on the platform but also a great publicity campaign and way to bring new people onto the platform while it is still free!

  10. An indoor velodrome, no gradient except banking, no wind, no weather etc.
    For those who want a consistent training environment for whatever reason.
    Being connected to the road network (ride in/out) would be super cool.

  12. Hi,

    I would like to suggest something. As drinking on a trainer is quite important and we should drink enough, what about a customable reminder for drinking intervals? Our avatar already has a bottle on the bike and what about if we see him/her drinking at predefined time intervals so we get a reminder to drink also? It's just an idea as with a Garmin computer you already have these kind of reminders. It would be cool and functional. Thank you.

  14. I've lost data of a couple of rides now. It's very frustrating when everything looks fine during a workout only to discover once you are done that all the work you did wasn't recorded.
    A warning about i.e. server connection issues would let me take action and restart the app.

  15. When there is some glich on the servers - and ride is not saved to TP nor Strava.
    and user uses AppleTV, there is no file locally saved.

    When installed TPV on Windows - aftewards - the directory:
    C:\Users\user\Documents\TPVirtual\hash\FITFiles
    is empty.

    As it probably does not download past rides to the Windows client.

    So effectively - the ride still visible in the app - user is unable to get it.

    Ideally if it is possible to do anything on the activities directly from the app - like Download button at least. Then user can solve the sync issue themselves.

  16. It would be good if team managers (TM) could view additional data on their riders.

    • An indication of when the last ride was could help to track down "dead" riders who are not active anymore.

    • It would be good if team managers get an info when one of their riders got a DQ. Together with an error code, team managers could then help the riders to identify the problem and take remedial action.

    • A team overview with some info graphics (maybe a calendar with events and signups) would make the TMD even better.

  17. The current workout options, are erg, terrain and flat - however the issue with flat is that as you accelerate, you have to shift gear to account for the increase in speed. The way other apps deal with this is a slope mode - so rather than simulate a flat road, they simulate a climb, so you can very easily adjust to your target power without the increasing speed requiring gear shifts. Usually this slope is also adjustable ala Zwift.

  18. Currently we can hit L to make a lap (not a course lap) but other than putting a marker in the fit file its not much use.

    I'd like to see lap metrics as data fields for the HUD to go with it like, LAP avg power, LAP NP, Lap avg HR, LAP avg Cadence, Lap time. Like you would on a bike head unit.

    Useful for pacing climbs, adhoc intervals etc.

  19. As above, I’d like the ability to create/plan custom routes based on the existing roads on the island (ie not GPXlorer).
    For example, I could do 2 laps of Laguna Seeker followed by 10 laps of crit course, followed by a finish on the velodrome.
    Within this, the ability to add/remove custom banners and points locations and finishes

  20. For planned workouts, it would be good to know the target TSS once you have started. Just beside the actual TSS would be good as in XX/YY. My coach via TP is big on hitting TSS targets, even if the actual intervals go awry.
