   Is it not possible to use google maps or something similar to build the real environment as in mountains next to the road where you are cycling. Even just an option to use google maps in 3D mode which does show the real environment instead of a generated virtual world.

   Doing this you can show a great part of your country and even have training ride on a real race to come.
