  2. I would like to be able to sort my peak paces by time, as well as distance. For instance, Joe Friel uses a 20 minutes time trial to set pace and heart rate zones, it would be good to filter that to see my other peak 20 minutes efforts.

  3. I’m a skating coach and use TrainingPeaks to analyze and create training plans. In speed skating, we don’t have power meters to measure training load alongside heart rate data. However, we do have lap times measured with a transponder, and these lap times provide a good indication of training intensity, similar to how a power meter works in cycling.

I was wondering if it’s possible to use lap times as custom zones in TrainingPeaks, so that I can analyze what percentage of a training session was completed in each lap time zone, similar to speed zones in running or power…

  4. Hello everyone,
in the dashboard there are performance statistics such as the power profile.
I’m 65 years old, and in this profile my results look quite weak.
However, Garmin shows that my performance is actually within the top 5% in my age cathegory.
Wouldn’t it make sense for these charts to reflect age categories, similar to how it’s done at the UCI Masters World Championships?

  5. It would be nice to have a more advanced way of tracking gear, not the very simplistic bikes and shoes section
For example, I would like to be able to add different components (chains, cassetes, tyres, forks, shocks, etc) and keep track of their wear
Also, very important (Garmin also doesnt offer this) - the option to see total time for a specific component (very useful for service intervals for forks and shocks, also useful for users who wax their chains - i personally keep track of riding time for a waxed chain, so i know when it is time…

  6. Why can you not see a ATP weekly TSS or Hrs in the athletes training plan. It's frustrating these are not linked and you have to keep referring to both, very inefficient.

What we need is a weekly total visible in the athletes training plan as its shown in their calendar

  7. Currently, we can only see lap data in a list/table format. While functional, it makes it harder to see trends, spot pacing inconsistencies, or quickly assess interval workouts at a glance.

I'd love to see a Pace Analysis tool that shows the average pace of each lap in a bar chart format, similar to what Strava provides (see screenshot reference). This would make it much easier to quickly visualize pacing consistency across laps compared to the current table-only view.

    Proposed Solution
Introduce a Pace Analysis chart that:

Displays each lap’s average pace as a bar (pace on the y-axis, laps…

  8. It would be very useful in the beta charts to add the option to zoom in the X-Axis selection made, to make more accurate selections and focus only on a specific part of your workout.

  10. At the moment, the CHO/FAT breakdown and percentages are only shown for the entire activity. For structured workouts or substrate testing, it would be extremely valuable to see Fueling Insights per lap, interval, or user-selected section of a workout.

This would allow athletes and coaches to:

Compare substrate usage across different intensity blocks (Z2 vs Tempo vs Threshold).
Run field-based substrate tests without exporting and splitting FIT files manually.

Better individualize fueling strategies for specific race scenarios.

  11. I usually export the .FIT file and then cnvert it into a .CSV to make my own Excel data analysis but it takes me a lot of time.
Wouldn't be possible to go straight from Training Peaks to a CSV?

  12. Average Metrics for a highlighted section of a ride in beta charts. In attached screenshot with power and heart rate charts presented, I have highlighted the tail end of a recent ride for about the last 5 miles or 13 minutes - click and hold cursor and drag from left to right over the desired section/duration of the ride which is charted. It would be nice to present the average metrics in the popup for that highlighted segment, such as average heart rate, average power, duration in distance and/or time. If this has been suggested or can configured, I have…

  15. When looking at calendar dates more than 1 month forward or backward it is currently impossible to tell which month you are looking at without finding the first of the month. Include an abbreviation of the month next to each date or alternatively, shade alternative months.

  16. Since the introduction of power measurement devices for running (Stryd and Run Scribe), it would be beneficial for TP to offer FTP value changes for running, just as it does for cycling.

It would also be beneficial to separate FTP values for road running and trail running, as it has been proven that these values are specific to each discipline. Even for trail running, it's possible to offer one FTP for running and another for walking (uphill).

  17. Request -Add a way to add the actual gears for the bike into TrainingPeaks (probably associated with a bike + wheel combination)?

Currently the Beta Charts include a "Front Gear" and "Rear Gear". These seem to be on the way to becoming the Front and Rear gearing. It would be great to be able to assign to Bike and separate Wheel combination - sometimes training with disc wheel that has different cassette to non-disc wheel.

Bonus - have the option to have a single chart with gear ratio (rather than two charts). This will simplify the number of charts required…
