  2. Particularly for Master's Athletes (where I see much of our Coaching Business coming from), the assumed 7-day micro-cycle does not allow for enough recovery from the 'suggested workouts in that cycle', and a 14-day micro-cycle is too long.

Managing athletes in anything but a 7-day cycle requires me to have corresponding offline Excel spreadsheets and makes use of the ATP/VC very difficult. Solution is to allow for configurable microcycle lengths - so ATP would clearly show where you are in training (Base 1, 2, etc.) and the VC would provide the same workouts in currently might in 7 day, only…

We are looking at easier ways to enter daily metrics. We will probably start by integrating with 3rd party platforms like HealthKit or Google Fit and then vendor specific APIs from Jawbone, FitBit, or similar. We may also provide a public API that could be used for uploading metrics as well. We currently have no plans to support importing from a CSV or xls though.

  4. It appears that you opted to rip out the nutrition/ meal planning and replace it with an integration with MFP. One of the major benefits of TrainingPeaks was the ability to track both my training and nutrition in a single tool, both via the web and via a mobile device.

Now we dont really have the mobile functionality at all, and I have to log in to two systems to do the same thing I used to be able to do in a single place. Its also unclear how to conduct the auto sync (if the functionality is even GA…

  5. I assess training performance by a cycle of Mon-Sun rather than just the last 7 days. Would prefer to see how I've done since Monday rather than the last 7 days. The high mileages of Sat & Sun block the ability to see performance since Mon. Looks like a number of people are asking for the same default view.

  6. I have hundreds of favorite (and custom) foods setup in trainingpeaks after using it for years to track my nutrition... moving to myfitnesspal is going to SUCK. Some assistance migrating my foods would be helpful.

MyFitnessPal’s API does not provide the functionality needed to automatically migrate meals, foods, or favorites from our site to theirs. So unfortunately this is not something that we can do.

In order to save your meals, you will need to print off your calendar before July 30th. If you currently have a meal plan applied, those meals are already on your calendar. If you have a library of meals that you want to save, those meals need to be added to the calendar first.

  7. I would like to be able to watch the same strength workout videos that are on the classic (exercises and intervals tab) version on the Beta version

  8. We used to be able to enter training plans into the calendar ahead of time, utilizing the automatic email function of the site to get daily emails with workouts. We are no longer able to do this in the free version of the site. Please return that function!

  9. Aquabike is the fastest growing division in USA Triathlon rankings - but your virtual coach program does not offer plans for Aquabike athletes (who don't run...). The primary distances are 1/2 Iron and Olympic - maybe you could start by adding programs for those?

  10. The decision to remove the mobile site a couple weeks ago has left those of us with older mobile devices high and dry when it comes to using the TP site. Please reinstate the mobile site for those of us with devices that do not support flash player.

We are past the point of no return on this one. We left the mobile site running as long as we could, but it was preventing us from adding some new features to the beta web-app. We were watching usage and once we saw it drop to less than 1% of our mobile usage we decided to shut it down.

  11. Revert to allow meal plans. I will no longer use and request a prorated refund. Myfitnesspal was not what I expected.

  12. I really do think making the ability to control the number of weeks an athlete can see compared to the number the coach can see would be a great benefit. It is awkward going in and hiding a single workout (or week) and then having to remember which one(s) are hidden. Perfect world? I decide that the athlete can see the next three weeks and it simply scowls to the next week on the next Monday. This would be controlled in the preference for the athlete. How many weeks can the athlete preview?

The hide/show feature wa designed to accomplish what you are asking for. Hiding multiple workouts at once is available in the classic app and is coming soon to the beta.

There is a visual indicator on the workout if it is hidden. the classic app displays the word “Hidden” and the beta app uses an icon. Look for those to tell if a workout is hidden or not.

  13. I would like to see the virtual coach provide a little bit more information about it workouts and provide a little bit more information about how to actually run that workout. For me I was provided things like 'form sprints', 'cruise intervals', 6 months in advance. I had to then search the web to find out what they are and how to cycle them. It would be great if the virtual coach could provide more information maybe a list of intervals, the length, w/bpm it expects us to do, calculate the rest times all based on the data we have…

  14. I have been thinking about the virtual coach feature which is able to provide us with a workout. On the classic it provides with us with a great set of workouts. I use them and self train. It would be great if virtual coach can deliver a feedback after a workout has been uploaded albeit through the click of a button to generate report (ensures that it's optional). Training Peaks can use our data and compare to what it expected us to do in the workout and identify areas we were good, weak or downright abysmal. For example if a…

  15. The Beta Version Does Not Function in Mac OS X 10.6.8
After it displays, nothing functions. The calendar doesn't scroll to a new date, the display is skewed. In short, it doesn't work. After the last significant "upgrade" we were forced to buy a new laptop because our existing one wouldn't run the software.

  16. Remove the requirement to re-enter credentials in order to view my zones, when using the web client. The mobile client and the old web interface do not do this.

  19. Seems to me that higher-level analysis of "burned matches" should be possible using a similar search and highlight function as peak power (or heart rate, speed, etc.) Ideally, this would be user-entered values for a threshold value and duration which then highlights each segment meeting or exceeding that criteria on the graph and map. Of course this can be done in WKO+, but it could be implemented much better in the web version for the more typical user.

  20. Often the autoscale on the charts is not very useful. For example if I have a workout with a sprint (or an erroneous high point) the scale makes it very hard to read because the rest of the workout is then compressed vertically. It would be nice to be able to adjust the vertical scale/zoom so that it is scaled appropriately of what is on the screen. You could zoom manually (the way the horizontal zoom works) or just edit the axes values.
Another related feature would be the ability to drop a "horizontal" line at a certain value (e.g.…
