  2. My idea/proposal is to be able to create a 'Master' workout, then if you copy this workout and place it in your calendar say 10 times (secondary workouts) when you make a change/update to the master workout this is automatically pushed through to all the secondary workouts. Currently I believe you would need to edit each of the 10 workouts individually.
A further development of this concept would be to have recurring workouts, with perhaps the possibility to increase volume/intensity by X% for each occurence to fit in with periodisation.

  4. I like the "Ramp Rate (RR)" metrics on the dashboard but not sure the data is as helpful (unambiguous) as it could be. The ramp rate is quoted in CTL per number of days. But the RR, as discussed in Joe F's Blog (linked on the home page), gives targets in CTL/week, which is a number that is more meaningful. Could your metrics be displayed in CTL/week to make it easier to understand/use? A bare number without the units specified is ambiguous.

  5. I haven't seen any functionality where I am able to enter an event name and see all athletes that are participating in that event.

As an added bonus, a list of athletes that are racing THIS coming weekend at a glance would be a fantastic feature for coaches with a large number of athletes.

  6. When reviewing the results from a structured workout (e.g. Bike, using Pwr), the analysis view defaults to only the metric for the structured workout. I would like to be able to set the default channels (e.g. Pwr, HR, Cadence) that then displays those metrics for the workout whenever I select the "Analyze" button

  7. I have a large number of athletes. It would be helpful to add tags to athletes using custom keywords to easily filter specific categories. For example, If I add the following tags to a runner: London Marathon, Serpentine, Beginner. These tags could filter all beginner runners from Serpentine club, running London marathon.

  8. Hi, please could you consider allowing pre-selected pace parameters to be set for multi-sport workouts? Eg: it would be a great option to be able to set the different pace parameters (HR, FTP, ThRP, THR) in a single sports activity like multi-sport for both the run and cycle leg when doing triathlons.

That way we can use the pre-setup multi-sport activity with the pace parameters during the triathlon. This means we don't have to try and remember what pace we need to run/cycle, which can easily be miscalculated or missrecalled when doing the event itself. Thanks

  9. Currently, completed workouts are paired/matched with planned workouts by order of planned workouts in the calendar. This is nonsensical as missing only one workout to complete would result in mispairing/mismatching of all subsequent workouts.

A more sensical approach would be to pair/match by the name of the workout. Only the workout name can logically be made distinct at both ends, the mobile device through which the workout is recorded and the planned workout entry in TrainingPeaks.

For correct pairing/matching, the user would set the same workout name at both ends. Naming example:

    (A) Apple Watch cross training workout of type…

  10. When selecting a workout type, it would be great to have an 'indoor bike' option. To use clearly as an indication to athletes to complete the session on an indoor trainer, rather than out on the road.

Thank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.

Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

  11. Today its possible for self coached athletes to create custom workouts and schedule them per drag and drop in the calendar.
It would be nice, if self coached athletes can create their own custom plans (e.g. 4week base and so on) and safe them in a folder for annual planning.
This feature will not replace real coaches, just make it easier for those who don't want a coach at all.

  14. There should be a possibility to select which body composition values are sync from a source.

Right now both my Garmin account and my TrainingPeaks accout are connected to Withings. As a result in my TrainiogPeaks calendar I get a metrics entry for weight and body fat from withings and I get a second entry from Garmin with just the weight. And the value Garmin provide was synced from Withings as well.

  15. A sync with Oura Ring can help TP’s take into consideration sleep time and quality, HRV, Resting heart rate and recovery status. A sync with Hyperice can help TP’s take into consideration recovery modalities used by the user and adjust the fatigue and stress scores accordingly. Both can help to avoid overtraining and or give overtraining alert suggestions based on data pulled from Oura and Hyperice.

  16. I would like to be able to export the 'data grid' from Workout / Analyze.

Rationale is that this includes HR, distance and elevation all sampled at regular, 1-second intervals. If I export the workout file, sampling is irregular and both distance and elevation data is missing.

  17. Simple 2x2 widget for the Home Screen that displays the big 3 metrics (CTL - Fitness, ATL - Fatigue & TSB - Form).

When a workout synchs to the TP app in the background the widget will update.

Possibly customisable for larger widgets to include more data? 🤷🏽‍♂️

  19. Instead of entering the same race for multiple athletes or applying the same plan to these athletes, it would be great to have a race calendar plan in which a coach can populate the year's races and simply use a dropdown in each athlete's ATP to select the race. No more need to fill in name, date, event type etc etc for every athlete. Thanks!

  20. Elevation Gain and Elevation Loss are not currently included in the items exported with the Workout Summary CSV Export feature. These are fundamental indicators of a completed workouts difficulty and would be very helpful to have included.
