Pre set pace parameters for multi sport activity
Hi, please could you consider allowing pre-selected pace parameters to be set for multi-sport workouts? Eg: it would be a great option to be able to set the different pace parameters (HR, FTP, ThRP, THR) in a single sports activity like multi-sport for both the run and cycle leg when doing triathlons.
That way we can use the pre-setup multi-sport activity with the pace parameters during the triathlon. This means we don't have to try and remember what pace we need to run/cycle, which can easily be miscalculated or missrecalled when doing the event itself. Thanks

Pair/match completed with planned workouts by name
Currently, completed workouts are paired/matched with planned workouts by order of planned workouts in the calendar. This is nonsensical as missing only one workout to complete would result in mispairing/mismatching of all subsequent workouts.
A more sensical approach would be to pair/match by the name of the workout. Only the workout name can logically be made distinct at both ends, the mobile device through which the workout is recorded and the planned workout entry in TrainingPeaks.
For correct pairing/matching, the user would set the same workout name at both ends. Naming example:

Self coached athletes can create plans for themselves
Today its possible for self coached athletes to create custom workouts and schedule them per drag and drop in the calendar.
It would be nice, if self coached athletes can create their own custom plans (e.g. 4week base and so on) and safe them in a folder for annual planning.
This feature will not replace real coaches, just make it easier for those who don't want a coach at all.141 votes -
WorkoutBuilder: Add Rest Blocks (Not just Recovery blocks) with no HR target. Garmin API supports this!
In WorkoutBuilder please add a simple rest block that doesn't need to have HR target associated with it.

Selective Sync of body composition data per source
There should be a possibility to select which body composition values are sync from a source.
Right now both my Garmin account and my TrainingPeaks accout are connected to Withings. As a result in my TrainiogPeaks calendar I get a metrics entry for weight and body fat from withings and I get a second entry from Garmin with just the weight. And the value Garmin provide was synced from Withings as well.

Sync with Oura Ring and Hyperice Apps.
A sync with Oura Ring can help TP’s take into consideration sleep time and quality, HRV, Resting heart rate and recovery status. A sync with Hyperice can help TP’s take into consideration recovery modalities used by the user and adjust the fatigue and stress scores accordingly. Both can help to avoid overtraining and or give overtraining alert suggestions based on data pulled from Oura and Hyperice.

Export data grid from Workout / Analyze
I would like to be able to export the 'data grid' from Workout / Analyze.
Rationale is that this includes HR, distance and elevation all sampled at regular, 1-second intervals. If I export the workout file, sampling is irregular and both distance and elevation data is missing.

iOS widget displaying the big 3 (CTL, ATL & TSB)
Simple 2x2 widget for the Home Screen that displays the big 3 metrics (CTL - Fitness, ATL - Fatigue & TSB - Form).
When a workout synchs to the TP app in the background the widget will update.
Possibly customisable for larger widgets to include more data? 🤷🏽♂️

Ability for Coaches to Change Workout Color
i.e. If an athlete skips/misses the programmed efforts but still aligns on duration/TSS they get a green box anyway. Would like to be able to manually switch to a yellow or orange.

Add races for the year to be used globally in ATP
Instead of entering the same race for multiple athletes or applying the same plan to these athletes, it would be great to have a race calendar plan in which a coach can populate the year's races and simply use a dropdown in each athlete's ATP to select the race. No more need to fill in name, date, event type etc etc for every athlete. Thanks!

Add the ability to compare workouts side by side
It would be nice to compare all parameters side by side for similar workouts. For example, being able to compare 2-4 RT1 workouts from training plan. Or being able to compare multiple runs on a trail, etc.

Add Elevation Gain and Elevation Loss to Workout Summary CSV Export
Elevation Gain and Elevation Loss are not currently included in the items exported with the Workout Summary CSV Export feature. These are fundamental indicators of a completed workouts difficulty and would be very helpful to have included.

Coaches calendar
A coaches consolidated calendar. Be able to have a calendar view that shows all upcoming events for all athletes.
At the moment I need to look at the ATP for each athlete to see what the upcoming events are to ensure I'm setting appropriate settings. It would be useful if on a single calendar view you can see every athlete's events for the next three months.

Session duration and workout duration
I currently subscribe to my Training Peaks calendar through my Apple calendar and share this subscription with my wife so she can see when I am training. In Training Peaks I would typically set a swim workout start time of 06:30 with duration of 30mins. This 30mins is typically the time I plan to be actually swimming (excluding rests) which is absolutely the information I want to record against my ATP. However in reality I will be in the pool for 50-60 mins, and if I also factor in travel time to and from the pool, getting changed etc. the…

Include kJ on workout summary.
When looking at summary info on a workout, it would be nice to see kJ of work without clicking through and expanding the workout to a full-screen view. This summary info could be useful. It's great that it shows on the weekly summary tab, but having it posted on unexpanded workout blocks, or on the partially expanded screen would be great for increasing efficiency.

New Garmin RPE Rating automatic import
So with the new updates from Garmin for their 245,745, 945 (and Fenix?)
After finishing a prescribed workout - the watch are now asking for the precevied effort and how you felt - I understand these new values are stored / saved within the .fit file.
Could TP look at importing these new values and matching to the values stored on TP workouts?
32 votesThank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.
Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

Upload NEAT, like daily steps, daily kcal or average daily HR
As a coach, to understand better training process and the adaptations is important to know how athletes is responding to training loads but also, what athelet does during resting time. An easy way to monitor this, could be uploading non-exercise daily activiy, like steps, daily average heart rate or kcal. This metrics are realted with NEAT (Non Exercise Activity Termogenesis) and could be extrapolated.
Nowadays, most of the wereables athletes use, are monitoring this kind of data.3 votes -
Displaying a Theme, Idea or Stimulus Awareness for the Week
I thought it might be cool if there could be a color bar below the blue bar on the monthly calendar page that had a theme, phrase, or training specific stimulus to be aware of. Coaches may input something like: Long Endurance Week, Building Week, Make SUre To Focus on Sleep, or Swims are important this week, or Deload Week Take It Easy. That was my idea, just a little rectangular bar mirroring the size and shape of the calendar dates inserted above the workouts.
