My sense is that with a more compact view it will help see more of the calendar at once. We won’t allow the title above the workout icon and key metric though.

  3. Bring back the "holding bin" for inactive athletes. This will allow us to remain connected but to just have active athletes on our 'people' list.

This is one of the reasons we created our unlimited coaching option (we call it UBC – unlimited basic clients) so you could have as many people you want for no incremental fees. Note that the UBC feature is a flat $49/month.

  4. I only do 4 sports: running, swimming, biking, and strength training. WHY do i need to be presented with a list of 15 options every time I want to add a workout? Give us a way to reduce what appears on the workout type list.

  5. I use Map My Fitness and their GPS/music integration capabilities to capture my runs in real time. I use My Fitness Pal for my food log and calorie counter. Those 2 integrate to give me a great picture of my net calories. It would awesome if I could complete the cycle and sync both up to Training Peaks to reconcile against my training plan. I've already voted for My Fitness Pal - now let's get Map My Fitness in here too!!

It’s really up to MapMyFitness if they want to export data to us via our API. Please encourage them to do so. We are in talks with MyFitnessPal also, hoping they’ll approve us as an API partner.

  6. Please can you add the specific HR zones and power zones per lap.

For example. It would be nice to see if during a 5 min interval what zones the interval was completed in..

    Many Thanks

This will be a feature of our forthcoming WKO+ desktop software which allows deeper analysis.

  7. in WKO+ There is an option to add different "Custom Charts" to the dashboard to view best FTP powers, Mean Maximal etc..

Would there be any way of implimenting this into TP Online version please?

That functionality will remain within WKO+ as a deeper, more advanced option.

  8. Add the ability to manually change a workout to RED if not completed, GREEN If we did, etc.

You can basically do this now by manually entering time. You’ll have to have a “planned time” though for it to trigger.

  9. Add the ability to set an upper limit to HR.... i.e. have system ignore any HR value over X or max sustainable HR

Good suggestion, but we are continually working to improve “smart” techniques to filter spikes and such without requiring user intervention, which is the direction we’d like to continue to pursue rather than setting artifical limits.

  10. On the strenght workout portion, when you have a work out set up like the MS workout, allowing me to input the number of reps and weight of set immdietly. I used to go into edit mode and sorta do it but now that is even gone. Id like to be able to record on the fly as I go.

  11. I would like to be able to sync my ride data directly from Expresso.net (http://www.expresso.net/Rider) as well as from my fitness band. I current have a Jawbone UP, but sync with FitBit, Garmin AND Nike would cover everyone! I would love to be able to track my total fitness using TP and your charts.

  12. Is there a way to see hrTSS and power TSS both for a ride on which a power meter was used; and specify which default metric to use for TSB and TSS?

We automatically decided the method to calculate TSS based on the available data. There is no way to see the calculation result based on the different methods within a workout and we don’t have any plans to add that. But, thanks for the suggestion.

  13. Whilst there are many athletes that adopt a 7-day microcycle, there are also many that prefer to use 8-10day cycles. At present I manually enter and calculate through excel but this is highly time consuming and as such, I would like to see an more advanced analysis on training peaks that allows for training stress scores, distribution, etc to be customized according to the dates of specific microcycle phases rather than just via the calendar week. This would be hugely beneficial for coaches and athletes wishing to determine whether a loading versus off loading phase was effective.

While I understand the request, I’m not clear how we would identify the start or end of each microcycle. Though interesting, I don’t think we have a large enough audience to warrant consideration for this request at this time. Thanks for the suggestion.

  14. Tanita BC 601 is a cost effective impedancemeter to assess the weight, the hydration and the lean mass.

It saves datas on a SD card on a .csv file.

It should be possible to take out datas from this file to update Training Peaks metrics.

    Thanks

  15. From user: nicolaihftri

Could you please make the log-in smarter, so users don't have to log in every time TrainingPeaks is started (PC version).

Other applications, like Facebook and Hotmail has the option to remember log-in details, so you dont have to type it every time they are started - that would be very nise to have in TP as well.

We use a persistent cookie to keep users logged in. I’d check to make sure cache is not cleared when the browser is closed.

  17. Maps fail to redraw from QuickView after the following steps:
    1) Quickview
    2) Expand (map appears)
    3) Collapse
    4) Select HR side tab on QuickView
    5) Expand - map does not get redrawn.

  19. The strength training interface for the mobile app doesn't provide the metrics you normally want like reps, weight, sets while providing many that you normally aren't interested in such as duration, distance, speed, pace, etc.

As an example, Full Fitness really got this workflow right.
