Allow for More Sport Types
When selecting a workout type, it would be great to have an 'indoor bike' option. To use clearly as an indication to athletes to complete the session on an indoor trainer, rather than out on the road.
Thank you for the feedback. This is a common request and has been added to that project’s feedback.
Future opportunities have not been added to our road map yet, but we are actively collecting feedback which contributes to the prioritization process. We do not want to set up false expectations and want to make sure that there is awareness that this update currently is not prioritized and does not have an ETA.

Regarding the mobile app and the web app: It would be nice to choose specific sports instead everything getting else getting put in “other”

I was suggested TrainingPeaks by several athletes at the Cedartown all wheelchair 5k and training camp. There are several of us in the wheelchair racing community who use the app. Would you be willing to add wheelchair racing as a sport option? I know TrainingPeaks is mainly for the long distance community. There is a large part of our community that does marathons and may be well served by your app.

Most athletes do some yoga, and rucking is becoming more popular. I'd like to log workouts under those types rather than other so I can see how much time I've invested in each.

My name is Magnus and I am from Sweden. I have been working as a researcher/developer and coach in Stand Up Paddle for the last 12 years. My wish would be that you also added Stand Up Paddle as one of your standard activities as it would make it easier for lots of people who have this as their primary activity to connect to TrainingPeaks. Kind regards, Magnus R Lindstedt

I agree with Adam St Pierre's comment on segregating XC Ski methods. It makes Training Peaks almost unusable for cross-country skiers given that there is no way to distinguish activities. It would be ideal to have the following methods:
XC Ski - Skate
XC Ski - Classic
Rollerski Skate
Rollerski Classic -

definitely want ability to differentiate between these:
- road
- gravel
- MTB
- cyclo-cross and
- indoor bike -

I also agree with Adam. It would be quite helpful to have the ability to quickly see details for specific types of XC skiing, rather than just XC Ski as one category. Having the ability to categorize our skis as XC XC Ski - Skate, XC Ski - Classic, XC RollerSki - Skate, and XC RollerSki - Classic would be much more helpful than only having to option to label our skis as XC Ski. This would provide valuable information and help athletes improve and maximize the effectiveness of training.

I agree with Adam, classifying workouts by XC ski disciplines like:
XC Ski-Skate
XC Ski-Classic
XC RollerSki- Skate
XC RollerSki- Classic...would be very valuable.

Knowing how different XC techniques and winter vs. summer training are, it would be very helpful for coaches and athletes to be able to differentiate between activity types as Adam St.Pierre suggests in his comments.

I'd appreciate the ability to differentiate within the XC Ski Activity Type. Ideally athletes/Coaches would be able to categorize a session as:
XC Ski-Skate
XC Ski-Classic
XC Ski- Skate Rollerski
XC Ski- Classic Rollerskiperhaps even a SkiMo or BC Ski option
I currently prescribe all these workout types as XC-Ski, but then it is difficult to view the breakdown of activities throughout the season.

Instead of classifying XC Ski workouts as XC-Ski it would b e incredibly helpful to be able to categorize as: XC-Ski Skate, XC-Ski Classic, XC-Ski Skate Rollerski, XC-Ski Classic Rollerski. I'd also love to see an option for categorizing SkiMo workouts.

Many of us are now primarily riding gravel. This should be available for workout AND event types.

I have been coaching a person with a knee replacement and to take pressure off her leg we have been using the elliptical and aqua running as workouts besides the road. I will build the workout and put it in as an other workout so we can have data.

and associated settings so the FTP/zones for trainer/erg workouts are specific to that vs outdoor Bike.
This is a feature in WKO and often with power meter differences the ranges are off as well as the resultant stats.

When adding a new cycling workout you can currently choose between Bike and Mtn Bike
Is it possible to add a Gravel Bike one? or even better, rename Bike to Road Bike and add the Gravel Bike, so the 3 disciplines are crystal clear
Actually, adding a 4th one 'Indoor bike' is also needed, but this one is already requested -

We cyclists train a lot with the roller.
We could use it very well to be able to separate the roller training, the road training and the MTB training.
thx!

WKO5 has an indoor bike FTP and workout type, why not Trainingpeaks? My FTP outdoor is much higher vs my indoor FTP. As a result, CTL, ATL and TSB are out of sync, hence the issue

Indoor trainers and workouts have become a significant part of coaching. Currently coaches are not able to specify this as a workout type. I'd like my coach to be able to tell me if this should be an indoor workout by selecting the Work Type and selecting an entry Indoor Trainer.
Currently my coach uses the mountain bike workout type to indicate indoor but this confuses the data when I actually ride my MTB. Sticking this in the notes also makes it easy to miss. Selecting other is just as bad.

I'd like to be able to automatically filter workouts by indoor/virtual vs. outdoor. Strava already marks rides as virtual so it seems like this would be no big deal. I already have Zwift linked to TrainingPeaks so you already know this category of workouts.
