Better color coding on calendar
Current color scheme:
Gray = Future workout
Gray = Completed but not planned
Green = Completed 80%-120% of planned
Yellow = Completed 50%-79% or 121-150% of planned
Red = Completed <50% or >150% of planned
Red = Skipped
Suggested Changes:
1) Different colors for the two "gray workouts", i.e WHITE = completed by not planned and GRAY = future
2) Different colors for the two "red workouts", i.e. ORANGE = greater/less than 50% and RED = Skipped.
Gray = Future workout
White = Completed but not planned
Green = Completed 80%-120% of planned
Yellow = Completed 50%-79% or 121-150% of planned
Orange = Completed <50% or >150% of planned
Red = Skipped

I like the workout compliance colours, but I think different users will always wish for some type of different colours depending on the way they want to use TP.
Custom Colours for Workouts would allow all this fleibility, see here for a way: Customized Calendar Colors (using Tags)

I see you guys updated the cards, thank you, especially for the Red missed workouts. But it would still be nice if you used Blue and Violet for OVER % of planned. Just saying, it you're going to do all this work, a few more colors would really help!

Good news Ben - looking forward to whatever you guys are planning.

As of now exceeding the planned TSS/duration/distance by more than 20% results in a yellow workout color, more than 50% in a red workout color.
In certain training phases or for certain workouts I would like to specify the workout target "at least x TSS/duration/distance", so the workout should be colored green as soon as I exceed 80% of the set target.

I, agree with everybody's comment.
Lot of good suggestion, I am fine with all of them, to add my 5 cents:
- Skipped: white and dotted line
- <50% red
- <100% orange, yellow
- >100% blue, violetThis way you would almost see a missed day when you skip the activity
Thank you

I agree, especially about displaying a different color for a skipped workout versus completed more or less than planned. As it is now, if I look at a week with a lot of red workouts, I can't tell if I was a slacker (and skipped a bunch of workouts) or a stud (and exceeded my planned workouts).

Yes, please, if you're going to tackle these changes (I see it changed to FUTURE OPPORTUNITY) it cannot be that difficult to add a few colors for OVER done on workouts! I'd prefer Blue and Violet for OVER because those are new colors and will indicate the new functionality to everyone.

Agreed. But, I'd like to see a different color spectrum for under versus over done. Reserve the yellow, and orange for >121% and >150% respectively. but, use purple and blue for <50%, and <80%, respectively.
Again reserving RED for skipped (incomplete), and White for not-planned (bonus!).

agree, especially different coding for Skipped and Completed >150% e.g. last week i missed a run but did a 5 hour ride vs a 3 hour planned ride my coach set ad both look the same in the calendar at a glance.

I wish I could add more votes to this. Especially with red meaning both "not completed" and "exercised even more than prescribed", the colour coding is almost useless to get an idea of activity levels over the week.

Great suggestion, but I'd like to add:
Blue = Completed > 120%.
So we can all go Blue trying to out-do our training plan...
Ideally you would let users set their own colors and then you could have Purple for > 150%, etc....
Love also the idea of keeping color of the workout icon.

Color by Compliance: I like the current colorizing workouts by compliance except I would like to distinguish between OVER and UNDER compliance. Blue (or some OTHER color other than red) for workouts that are HIGHER than planned. Red if Lower.
Color By Sport: This was a feature request a while ago marked completed and it never was done. I would like to request this feature

And please keep the color of the "work-out ikon" when the status of the work-out is changed.
Now, when an athlete has completed a full week of workouts, everything is just green - it is very hard to get a quick overview og the mix/number of different workouts (swim, bike, run ...)
If you kept the color of the workout ikon (swim=blue, bike=pruple, run = dark grey) and only change the background color, it would be much easier to get an overview.

If I could give all of my remaining 44 votes for this I would. Please TrainingPeaks help us out here! :-)
