  1. Allow the setting of Sets and number of exercises on top of the duration. If I am using a Third party application that doesn't integrate with TP, I can't edit the sets and exercises to be monitored by my coach.
More that I suggest to add total kg.

  4. Please make it easier for us coaches that have athletes swimming in both meter/yard pools.

It feels redundant needing to manually change to meters/yards on each interval or set. Can't there be an easy solution that can automatically switch the workout to one or the other?

Sure, I can have multiple folders, but that duplicates the work I need to do and also clutters my library

  5. It would be very useful to have a printable version of the details of each workout.
In some cases (for example swimming) it is useful to have a printed version of the workout with you to be able to do it. Even for indoor cycling, in some cases it is useful to have the workout in front of you.
Now if you request a printout of the workout, the entire page is printed, in a way that is also quite ugly, lacking formatting and difficult to read.
With small adjustments in the page style sheet for programmers it would be…

  6. I would like to save training blocks created in the builder for insertion into new or existing workouts. This prevents me from needing to enter create the same thing over and over again, such as a pre-set opener. The builder is now expected but becomes a lot of extra work.

  9. Over the past few years i have had a few athletes come and go. It is always nice when they return however i often find that they have simply copied months of sessions from our previous history and then re applied it whilst we are not working together.
I am not suggesting that we remove their data, but it would be nice to be able to unpair the sessions and clear away the intellectual property so that it cannot be so easily re purposed.

  11. I would like the ability to use different units within the session and have it integrated into the workout builder.
You can only work with one unit (%threshold pace, %threshold hr, %maximum hr...) in the workout builder, and it would be very useful to be able to combine at least two units.
For example, warm-up in RPE and active in % maximum heart rate, or also to be able to indicate (in two steps) a step in one unit and the recovery in another unit, for example, sets in %ftp and recoveries in RPE.

  12. I would like to be able to see some graphics when creating a dynamic plan that includes: duration per day/week, distance per day/week, elevation gain per day/week, and longer workouts (duration and distance) so I can visually and fluidly monitor the workload for the coming weeks with my group athletes.

  13. The workout info in the "Analyze" page occupies about ⅓ of the vertical space. The information about the workout can be moved to the top row, along with the details of the workout. The Files, Charts, and Summary buttons can be relocated.
Alternatively, push all of that info into the upper right corner of the page which is dead space in the current design.
These changes will provide additional space for the analysis. At the moment, ⅓ of that page is of limited or no value.

  14. This is a basic UI issue.
When I scroll the Laps and Splits grid to select a lap that is not visible in the initial page display, the row for that lap is highlighted and the grid scrolls to the top.
As a result, the Lap I've selected is no longer visible and I have to scroll again to select the next lap.
Please stop the grid from redrawing or, if that's not possible, re-select the selected Lap after the grid redraws.

  15. when building a cycling workout using the workout builder in training peaks the power is always entered as a % of ftp. as I always think in terms of watts it would be very helpful if the workout builder would show me the power in watts as well. I'd like to enter the % of ftp as usual and be shown what wattage that equates to (based on currently entered ftp) somewhere on the screen. clearly the wattage will change if I get a new ftp but it would be helpful whilst I'm building/editing a workout. many thanks.

    NB. I…

  16. When an Athlet leaves your coaching after years. How can I keep his trainings in store ? To not loose my ideas for Training from the past in order to recap it in the future? I can save and retain about a year of coaching.

Find a way to retain athlets trainingplans from the past for more than a year, but i would like to save the whole training period.

  17. Overview
TrainingPeaks is the gold standard for structured planning and workout execution. However, training in real life rarely goes perfectly according to plan. Travel, fatigue, illness, missed sessions, unexpected improvements, or races often derail static schedules. Adding adaptive training would elevate TrainingPeaks into a true end-to-end coaching and performance platform that evolves with the athlete.

    The Opportunity
    • Competitor Advantage: Apps like Humango, Athletica, TrainerRoad, and Garmin Connect already use adaptive algorithms. Without it, TrainingPeaks risks being perceived as static and outdated by athletes seeking real-time coaching solutions.
    • Athlete Experience: Adaptive training ensures every workout reflects current readiness, recovery,…

  18. It would be great to have the option to not have a "planned pace" auto filled when using a workout from the structured workout builder. It time consuming to have to manually delete planned pace from each workout that I drag and drop onto a calendar. Sometimes they repopulate after I delete them. Also, they are wildly inaccurate for what each athlete typically runs. For example, an athlete that runs Zone 1 in around 8:30-9 min/mile it gives a "planned pace" of about 12 min/mile. This is very unhelpful, particularly for trail and ultra trail runners.

  19. I’d really like to add a bit more detail here, because after 15 years of coaching athletes (12 of those specifically in Strength & PT), I see some big opportunities to improve the Strength Workout Builder.

At the moment the flow is a bit off: athletes first see all the exercise videos, and only afterwards can they fill in reps, weight, RPE, etc. That doesn’t feel logical. Ideally, it should work like this:

You see the exercise (or a block of two/three if it’s a superset),

Right below it you can directly log results (weight, reps, RPE, notes),

    Then, optionally,…

  20. Very frustrating that all my cycling and events sync from TP into my Google Calendar, but for some reason the new Strength workouts do not. Strength is a workout just like any other, really need it to show in my calendar please!
